While I respect the various opinions expressed with regard to the question ?Catholic Church Recommendations in Downtown JC?? I must say that in keeping with Catholic tradition one has to look at what a parish and parishioner really are. The definitions given by Webster?s ?parish = administrative area around a church and under care of a clergyman; parishioner = person who lives in or belongs to a parish.? Having looked at both terms and knowing the Catholic tradition I must remind all of you that have taken the time to respond to the question that Our Catholic Faith is UNIVERSAL. It shouldn?t really matter much where you go for the most sacred celebration of the Eucharist. My answer to the original question is for YOU to do your part in strengthening the Church/Parish nearest to you. There are obviously several reasons for this. The most important being the availability of your local Pastor/Priest nearest to your home during times of need. Please tell me sincerely what purpose it serves for YOU to go out of your way and skip the Church/Parish nearest to you. Please go to the Parish/Church nearest to the place you live and work to make it a loving and inviting place to celebrate The Glory of Our Lord Jesus.

BTW, here is a list of the downtown Churches websites:
Holy Rosary: http://www.holyrosarychurch.com/
OUR LADY OF CZESTOCHOWA: http://www.olcjc.org/
Parish of the Resurrection: (St. Michael, St. Bridget, St. Mary, St. Peter) http://www.resurrectionparishjc.com/
Saint Anthony of Padua: website is down as of this writing
