Good god man

I see you sell food and suggest "BYOB". Do you have a restaurant and liquor license? Otherwise you're illegal and might get busted. Im just sayin. ;) [/quote]

Where you place the traps is key. Mice will run along the sides of walls and tend to stay on the same path when looking for food. Peanut butter and or chocolate always worked for me. I never did the steel wool thing for holes. I took bottles put them in a pillow case smashed the bottles with a hammer and filled the holes, and topped it with hardening clay or some self hardening putty. From what i hear mice will figure a way to get pass the wool over time. But glass will always create a severe problem almost training the mice in a sense knowing that any type of chewing will cause cuts and bleeding.

I live in the new york ave palisade and webster area. The trash in my opinion is due to the people in this area just not caring. There is nothing hard about holding on to your garbage till you reach a can or home to to toss it. Take a walk to central , summit ave , congress area you dont see as much garbage . This area is infested with drug deals and crack heads. No one cares. Good example a few months ago i saw a guy eating a spare rib talking to friends on palisade and just tossed his Chinese leftovers into the middle of the street . The sad part he was actually leaning on one of those solar trash cans .I have been here over 10 years and just when it seems to get better notha!. Get rid of the bums and things will change. I get really annoyed when i can walk 5 blocks out of my area and it's not as bad.

Well central ave is not a bike place street or sidewalk . Take summit perhaps ?or a different route. Good friend two years ago slammed into an open car door because the driver just didnt care to look in his rear. He flew off the bike hit the ground and begged he was in pain when police showed up . Officer drilled him for riding his bike and all he could do is say pleasee call the ambulance to the cop. Seconds later he yelled at the driver as to why he did not look in the rear view when he opened the passenger door , and that's when the collar bone just snapped. I could not imagine that pain and the feeling of being drilled when you broke no laws. He ended up having a case because the officer is suppose to get someone on spot.

it's a scam they're in india , (001)201-977-1600 i had to deal with places like this , not so much india but nigeria. But india has plenty of scams going on. If they are in india getting JCPD or the mayors office involved will do nothing . I had to deal with scams and fronts for years,

Ahhh NYC such a great place when i grew up there. Playland on times Sq , show world that got my curiosity going when my mother held my hand as we walked by and fire hydrants open in the summer on every block. What a sense of community during those days. Went back home in the late 90's and came back to JC the magic was gone there , People dont move to NYC for the rents they go because it's a status symbol unlike during the early days moving to NYC was a haven for artist and musicians paying cheap rents trying to make it not fake it. Best of luck to the poster.

Well i hope to see beat cops ASAP walking new york ave griffith and webster area. Really tired of the crackheads and junkies who are openly doped up asking for money. If the JCPD setup a stakeout they will see the amount of deals taking place i see it almost daily

It was a comment on another post that i agreed with. That's my personal opinion. I can get a taco and you can visit LITM every night if that's your choice. It's no big deal.

I see him, Hispanic guy who sports his own shirts with his words of love message. He was putting a sign that said rip tree on a tree stump and taking a picture I guess keeping a journal of his stuff, I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure it's him. I wouldn't call him jersey city's own basquiat, maybe more like JC's own James dela Vega. I like basquait and don't care for dela vega

City deer, they pop up on occasion, Long island has them and i met a few hunters from long island who talked about these types when i met them upstate. The bucks are bucking mad and they wont hunt or kill them for food. They're basically tanks with horns , and a little nuts due to their surroundings and feed.

i went once or twice, i personally never cared for it. I find it a bit lame , the one stop everyone knows your name brat pack venue. But again that's my personal opinion and not a a reason to start the typical JClist attack. I would love to see a gallery in that space if at all possible.

ogden ave is quiet and clean , new york ave and the congress area is also ok . Walking distance to hoboken's shop rite which has plenty of good stuff and some decent organic goods . Central ave has plenty of places to shop and eat . fish market etc, Been in this area for along time and the little lady never had issues at night coming home. Also several options to get to the city . One of the main reasons we stayed, rent and commute

Its jersey city , not jersey gardens. Please don't start with the ohh well that's not a an excuse nonsense. I'm simply saying this town will not change at the pace you want it to. I see much bigger problems then some crack in the ground . What i can say is, Jersey City has changed alot since i was 12yo, DTJC was a ghetto now you have a starbucks in that former ghetto and the list goes on and on.

its severe in the heights, the jcpd should spend more time forcing people to pick up . The city will make more with tickets and the streets will be happier place for all who call JC home.
