FOUND: black and white cat in backyards on Mercer/Jersey

Adorable, super friendly female cat has been floating around in backyards on Mercer street and Jersey Avenue. Various neighbors reporting that it's been around since Thursday. Definitely NOT a stray, but no collar is on. Looks pretty young, maybe 6-8 months old. Equal parts black and white, wirh black ears and tail. Anyone missing their cat?

Please post here or call 201-324-1961 if you have any information.

I like 30 Acres a lot and it is overpriced for what you get. Does that mean I won't go there? No, because sometimes you don't want to trek to the City for a great dinner.

One of my favorite restaurants in NY is Gramercy Tavern. IMO the overall dining experience is at another level compared to 30A. Here is a price comparison,

30 Acres
Pasta Average $16
Arctic Char $26
Other Entree Ave. $26.33

Gramercy Tavern
Pasta Average $19.50
Arctic Char $22
Other Entree Ave. $20.75

I don't think it's entirely fair to compare prices between these two places. While both great and offering high-quality food and service, GT has been open since 1994 and 30A since 2012. Plus GT is part of a 10+ restaurant group, which means huge buying power and therefore better deals on food costs. And you have to think about size; 200 seats versus 40-ish means you can buy a whole lot of a product at a cheaper price, knowing you'll go through it.

A better comparison is between Thirty Acres and Marco & Pepe; similar in size and location AND price. Both places have entrees in the $25-30 range. Some of the appetizers are on the smaller size but the servers are very honest about that if you ask, and I?ve never felt ripped off. So I think Thirty Acres receives a lot of s**t that they don?t exactly deserve just because they?re groundbreakers in the JC food scene.

Went in once a few months back to grab a beer at the bar and maybe a bite to eat as well, but was so turned off by the menu that I decided it wasn't worth trying. Too scattered and no interesting or unique dishes/combinations. And any place that spells "ceviche" as "cerviche" on their menu clearly doesn't have their stuff together.

Charlie, the original owner of La Rustique, is in fact working at the pizza "station" of the Grove St. bistro. I've tried plain slices from there twice now, and you really are getting what you pay for. $1.25 is the perfect amount for a young individual stopping by after grabbing drinks locally (speaking from experience) but I wouldn't recommend it for a sober slice.
La Rustique, since being sold to the new owner, is still my favorite when I want to order a whole pie. Wonderful sauce, usually perfectly cooked, and fresh basil...what's not to love? But it doesn't reheat well due to the sauce being on top.'
For a real, Neopolitan style pizza, Razza is the place to go. Their pies are not quite big enough to split, but almost too big to eat solo..but absolutely worth every bite.
