Re: Extreme Right Winger On Healy Ticket

These guys are pretty far out there. The Assemblies of God are famous for having gay-bashing clergy who wind in in gay sex scandals. Jimmy Swaggert for instance.

Other famous Assemblies of God folks: Gene Scott, the crazy late night cable preacher, and Sarah Palin.

In their 4 page position paper on "Homosexuality," they spend more than two pages telling why Homosexuality Is Sin. (Read it yourself on the church website.) I wonder of Pr. Mario believes all the stuff his church pushes?

More importantly, what do Healy and the other people on the ticket think? It's hard to see how this kind of radical right wing political agenda would be right for Jersey City.

Two in one week.

Mainor gets in trouble because (even though he's had FB problems before) he doesn't seem to know how the thing works. Not the bog booty thing or the beatdown thing, but the "world wide" web thing.

Velasquez gets in trouble because he does know how it works but forgets that people may read what you say before you realize you're acting crazy. (Didn't he just about say he was shopping around his endorsement in exchange for a judgeship?)

Turns out there's a good reason that our Mayor doesn't use the internet.

I'm surprised they don't have a claims adjuster stationed onsite.

How about Jimmy Carroll for the Ward D in the Heights?

Jim Carroll would be a good pick.

Michael Yun's made a better showing so far than I would have thought.

Why not Eileen Gaughan? Wouldn't she be the obvious pick if no one else is available?

Dan Levin is quoted as saying
Quote:
I am firmly committed to an established set of public values and goals that I believe can be achieved by working with the incumbent mayor...

Really? Really???

What values does "the incumbent mayor" represent?

How can you go from campaigning for his recall to "we can work together"???

Unreal.

You telling me three years later and he still hasn't given it all back? What about the money Khalil took for him? What about the money Guarini took for him? Jack Shaw? Cardwell? You add up all of that money and it means the entire 2013 campaign is currently funded by bribes!!!

So how much Federal bribe money made it's way into Healy's campaign and how much has he returned or given away? Does anybody know?

Thanks. The page is Dwek Jersey City corruption videos.

I don't know how to embed the Healy video, but it's pretty special. Not only is he pimping out the city for campaign contributions, but he's such a clod when doing it.

The clip of Healy in the Med Center luncheonette meeting with Dwek used to be online, but I can't find it. Is it still up and running somewhere?
