Thats great an all, but lets be honest. It will never happen. Not that it couldnt happen, or shouldnt, but until the residents there start to take more pride in their neighborhood, that is just wasted money. Id love to be wrong. Instead of waiting for a handout, why not take the initiative and have the people turn the area around, theres nothing stoping them. I see barely a sense of community pride when passing through greenville. Its sad. The same holds true for any other area around that suffers the same demise.
