Thank you, ErieSt, for starting this thread. We finally checked out this place tonight and were very impressed with this restaurant. Their ceviche is one of the best I've ever had, and I love ceviche and order it whenever I can. Oh, and I discovered cancha chulpe tonight, and boy is it addictive!
I agree with the previous posts. I hope more people patronize this restaurant so it can thrive. Get thee to Ceviche's -- quickly!

Butchcjg, I've seen your posts on that site, and you're right. You've never antagonized anyone there. You should definitely keep screenshots going forward, once that one-week "ban" is removed. Frankly, that site is a joke, and is not representative of the people living there.
I recently had the *pleasure* of having my posts edited then deleted by Sonia. See screenshots below. I'm surprised she hasn't banned me from that site after that. I guess she's afraid I'll blog about it! I'm really bummed that the Times piece didn't mention the GA info session that many residents and neighborhood groups worked so hard to put together in support of the GAs. Did Miller drop the ball on that one, or did the editors?

We received a few menus today. Normally I grumble obscenities, then throw menus out automatically, but this time I'm happy to have their menu. I will definitely be stopping by this week.

We have a MAKE MY PARK flyer on our main entry door.

This is great news for the Golden Cicada.
Maybe St. Peter's and the JCRA will reconsider, nobody wants bad press like this. Then again, maybe they will fight harder. Either way, at least having the ACLU represent the Golden Cicada will definitely lift a huge financial burden for Tan. Has there been any showing of community support for Tan?

Did anyone have problems with flooding during Monday's thunderstorm?
As far as I know - and correct me if I am mistaken - most of the flooding in DoJo only occurs in people's basements, but not on public city streets. I had no clue Hoboken had an even worse flooding/sewer problem than ours. via [whereistheremote]
