If you do move forward with a suit, expect it to take a long time and it may cost more money than you'd gain in a settlement or an award. If you do hire a lawyer, you'll have to be very proactive in your case and make sure things occur as they're supposed to. Dealing with lawsuits (on either side) and lawyers is not all that pleasant. And you can still lose no matter how strong a case you may have.
