Re: Kayaking in JC

Hi,
I am soon moving to Hoboken (next month) and I have 2 yaks. A 14 ft (sea) and 8.5 ft (whitewater) and I will obviously need a place to keep them now (no more garage, sniff sniff)

I was looking at NYKC, but is a bit expensive to store boats, plus it will be accross the Hudson.

So Stephanie, I would be interested for 2 spots depending on price and hours of operation. As I read earlier in the thread, times may be an issue, I do need to be able to get in and out during the night or early morning since I usually don't get back until late (if I am kayaking in PA or CT)

Also any kind of accomodation for rinsing kayak and gear would be awesome.

A friend send me this thread, so don't know much about the area but have kayaked the hudson several times and know some of the restrictions and safety measures to take.

Keep me updated.

Cheers,
Doris
(currently in Ireland for a few more weeks)
