We ate at Taqueria last night and I must say that the service was 1000 times (*approx.) better than before the storm. And the food was just as good as before. The line was mostly for take away orders - we came right in and sat down.

I noticed at both my place and my friend's apartment (both in van vorst area) that our tap water smells and tastes almost like pool water today (sunday 9/16). anyone else having this experience?

Anyone who thinks an Internet petition is going to make a difference needs to grow up.

If you really want this to stop, flood the mayor's office with phone calls, organize yourselves and contact news outlets. But an Internet petition is just silly.

I, for one, will treat this like having a zoo just down the street.

Fortunately it will all be over in about six weeks time, so much harm can really be done?
