Grove Pointe- Breaking a lease

Hi,
I signed a 2 year lease on which I have left about 9 months. We are looking to buy and I am wondering how hard it would be to break the lease and if anyone has any experience with this? Also, I am wondering what leverage we have with their poor handling of Sandy and closing our lobby for 2 months, no elevators, etc. Any help/advice/experience is welcome. Thanks!

Loud humming noise this morning at 5:30 am

Did anyone else hear a loud humming almost like a plane or helicopter hovering early this AM around 5:30? It lasted on and off for about 1.5 hours. Just wondering if anyone knows what this was.
