I can recommend a place on Tuesdays-The Culinary Cafe. Every Tuesday The Culinary Conference Center is open to the public for breakfast 8am-10am and lunch 12 noon - 1:30pm. It is pretty quiet for breakfast and you can get a great buffet breakfast for $5!

The building is completely wireless so you can come with your laptop and have breakfast ann/or lunch and study.

The Culinary Conference Center is at 161 Newkirk St in Journal Square. 2 blocks from the PATH station.

The Conference Center is on the campus of Hudson County Community College. Hope to see you there!
