These "children" that go to school in this area are thugs. They have no regard for traffic lights, cars, the law. I NEVER drive around there during school hours because they just don't care....

Yeah - not backpeddling; trying to be ironic; but again, what the actual IQ level is versus what you all think you are, is a big difference.

And yes, my puggle certainly has people quacking in the boots....

As for calling the police for an explanation - LOL....

No - nobody answered my original question. And FYI - I am a minority woman - but I guess nobody really cares - everybody gets on their soapbox about racist nonsense.

So - I guess I will move out because the Lenape Indians WERE here before I was....whatever that meant....

Such highbrows on this site. The same one's who cross the street when they see me walking down it with my dog....

I simply asked what happened. A bunch of arrogant snots on this site - I have lived here for years - but when a bunch of dregs of society come into my neighborhood, I want to know what's going on.

Happens every time the weather gets nice. "THESE" people don't like it when its cold. you all know exactly what I'm talking about.

The intersection is down by the water....

Snow - sorry I offended, its just VERY scary seeing a bunch of "thugs" being arrested in front of me and the dog. This isn't just one incident - it just happened to be right in front of me

I am renting - i thank God I never bought here - its very dark and scary - and there is a certain bad element that is coming back out now that the weather isn't freezing....

If you read what I wrote - I SAW the police cars and SAW people getting arrested.

If you don't know, please don't reply. This neighborhood is going downhill quickly and nobody reports about it. EVER

does anybody know what happaned in Paulus Hook last night around 10:00 through 1:00 a.m. I was walking my dog and saw undercover cops busting about 3 black men and puting them in an unmarked car - then took off with sirens blazing.

the other police cars seemed to be going towards the old Sandbar area.

Of the course the paper mentions nothing, but it was a good three hours of on-off police cars and sirens.

Anybody know? Thanks.

Even though its near a nicer neighborhood, that street is gross. I see people getting high there all the time, it looks like there is a chop shop back there - I do'nt like walking the dog there in the dark.

But when asked why police don't patrol the area, I was told by our councilman that it looks "bad" for the residents to always see a police car in the neighborhood.

WTF?

Vankel - I'm really sorry about your dog. That sucks. And what is "friendly" to some is downright scary to others.

I have a huge dog and he's NEVER attacked anyone, anything else, but I'm still funny about him approaching certain dogs in the 'hood....

I hope yours is feeling better soon - and recovers nicely....

You guys are really rude. I'm sure the dog owner thinks the dog is a member of their family - and were upset that it was injured in a fight.

Just like any of you would be if you or a family member was hurt.

instead you jump all over a "newbie" about the post. No wonder nobody wants to write anything on this site. You're all angry people sitting around waiting to pick a fight.

You are wrong - they are re-doing the place. Gutting it and making it better (I hope)

Its not just those lights, its the one on Grand and Warren, Montgomery and Warren. Its a joke. And NOBODY realizes it either and yes, somebody is going to get hit.

The drives in the city are rude, stupid, and oblivious to the LAW that says pedestrians have right of way, even if they have a red....

People also can't use a canvas bag for dog poop, garbage, etc. Its just a superfluous "feel good" law that is just going to antagonize people in the long run....
