What's the best place to watch the Macy's fireworks from the JC waterfront?

Thanks!

You sound like a bunch of angry ranting Republicans.

Get a life, I'll get a new dry cleaner, and tomorrow the sun will rise.

Have a great week.

ShutItDown - Glad to hear you got good service from YES Cleaners. Yes, the receipt says YES. You're the exception and at the rate they're going, you too will have to find a new cleaners. Further, if you don't like the fact the JC residents are posting about service, good or bad, then stop reading this blog. Otherwise, keep getting yourself spun up.

Also, my post is not based on a 1-time bad experience. It's based on the 3 times I used the place. If they want to have a business, they'll have to learn something about customer service. They should learn same lesson the owners of Taqueria did. If you want to be rude to customers, open a second location in NYC where people don't give a rats a$$.

Canonguy20d - It's okay to admit it. Nobody will judge you for it. Also, thanks for the suggestion for a good cleaners. You finally answered the question.

Peace and Love,

Zick

Canonguy20d - You should use them. They sound like your kind of people.

Quality is decent at best. Issue is the attitude and price.

Don't use Yes Dry Cleaners on Bergen Ave.

FYI... Yes Dry Cleaners on Bergen Ave. is the worst cleaners in town!

They should actually be called No Cleaners, because they overcharge and under-deliver.

The owners are more checked out than the owners of Taqueria! Good luck staying in business with that kind of attitude in the United States of America.

Any recommendations for a good Dry Cleaner?

Maybe Iron Mike will take it in at Ringside.

Is this salary a joke? I'm outraged! Mayor Healy - Now we know why you wanted to raise our taxes.

45,000 entries on this subject and it's still an issue.

People need to take responsibility for pet ownership and pride in their community.

I would like to know how many of the violators of this city ordnance have their dogs licensed.

Pizza Master in the Heights.

Prince of Pizza in McGinnley Square/JSQ.

Both are amazing. Try the fried eggplant and sausage pie.

I can understand encouraging victory gardens, but chickens and bees? What the?

If this is the best the Jersey City Council can do, then they should all be ousted!

Where are the recall petitions?

I highly recommend the area (North/South) between Fairview and Bentley and (East/West) between Bergen and West Side Ave.

Great area for professionals. Close to Lincoln Park and Journal Square.

My wife and I are from the South, have lived in the neighborhood for 3 years, and love it.

Good luck.

Sutherland and Mado:

Last time I was there was near the end of December.

My general observations from my past few visits include:

1. Cleanliness and odor of the waiting room.

2. The new vets try to up sell costly services and pet meds.

3. They seem very quick to add a full exam fee to your bill, so keep an eye on it.

4. They have a new policy whereby they want to take dogs from the examining room to the back for routine services. They used to do everything in the room with us present.

5. The vet turnover.

6. Techs seem to have a bad attitude.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Mado.

What's the DOGJC list? Disappointing about Westside. I want to continue with them, but they have major issues to overcome, including the vet turnover. Dr.'s Acosta and O'Connor were really good.

Jersey City Vet Recommendations
#16
Newbie
Newbie

I'm looking for a new Vet in Jersey City. Any good recommendations?

I've been using Jersey City Animal Hospital on Westside Ave. for 3 years, but their service has dramatically declined since several vets and techs left. Too bad, they used to be great.

Thanks!

Most of the dog waste left in Lincoln Park comes from pit bulls with checked out owners who don't care about preserving Jersey City and Hudson County parks. Shame, shame, shame!

This is good news for Jersey City, since this move likely means that the male partner in the business will spend more time in NYC. He's the only person in Taqueria with a bad attitude!

Also, good luck making Taqueria work in the East Village. You'll have to compete with the well-established San Loco, home of the famous Taco Loco.

Food is great, but service at the take out counter is horrible! The attendants are checked out, offer little help to translate the menu, and are more interested in playing with their cell phones and talking to the wait staff.
