Here's ANOTHER reason not to eat in Hoboken:

And Alan Wright. Saabconv is my handle, not my car!

He's already making a mess of Warren St. Mind you there are about 10 guys just standing around watching 3 of them work. A good use of our tax dollars....

Whatever you do, do NOT use Newport Limo - they will charge you at least $50 to Newark; and if you get an SUV, they will charge you at least $100.00 - but of course they don't tell you this beforehand.

Yes, those were my thoughts exactly. If my neighbor OR landlord was in my room exposing himself, I would have had my dog bite his exposed bits or called the cops pronto. Not gone back to sleep. Clearly she was drunk, drugged, or LIKED IT (at least, the first time)

You're definitely not the only one. I think its MUCH better than Hoboken - a more mature and I think - ATTRACTIVE - bunch of people in JC! And the food is definitely better - if you know where to go...

Tommyc - you asked a serious question, and then you made a stupid remark about unattractive women in JC. Maybe the guys (like yourself) are so unattractive that nobody can keep their food down. Did you think of that?

They have more singles with NO MONEY. Downtown JC has a wealthier demographic - and I think there are more older singles than married with kids there....also Hoboken has ALL the restaurants on one main street. JC is scattered all over the place....

If you had been in Paulus Hook, you would have seen TONS of people outside of Light Horse and Triumph (or whatever they changed their name to). I think people want to be closer to the water and wants a more people friendly area, like Paulus Hook is.

I think if you drive down Grove and Newark Avenues there is an unfriendly element there. People just loitering, not really shopping. That's my opinon. I don't want people writing back and telling me that I'm racist, or a jerk, or anti-Newark Avenue. Because I'm not any of those - and I happen to love the bars/restaurants on Newark Avenue....

Skeptical - you're so angry. I think we should pay for schooling, and licenses, and while we're at it, lets buy them houses, and cars, and wait, lets let them be CEO of GM, and then the final next step - they can be President of the United States. And as Skeptical said before - F you libs that think this is a good idea....give us your tired and your poor meant - we will help you if you want to better your life. It certainly does NOT mean, come on over and get everything FREE.....

I would recommend Metro Dogs. They're very nice people who truly care about dogs. Not just claim that they care about dogs and then let them run around unsupervised where the dog can get injured. My dog LOVES them. http://www.metrodogs.biz/

Guess what? You don't like it - go home. Or better yet, go complain with Bernard Madoff's "victims." Enough with this already. Stop draining the TAX PAYERS of this state and country.

HOW are WE bitter? I am SOOOOO tired of people not taking responsibility for themselves. This is why this country is in the predicament that we're in. And just because something is a "charity" is mostly certainly does not exclude or excuse them from doing their homework. GROW UP!

Did Waterways ever think that charging $8 EACH WAY compared to the PATH that is about $1.80 each way may be one of the reasons why? But instead of management thinking of ways of lowering the prices, they want to sue US Airways....good idea - not only will they be hated for sounding like such sour grapes, they won't get money from that airline anyway. They have even less money than Waterways....

You think because somebody has a non-profit group for the Holocaust that he can't possibly be greedy? Who's being naive now? I'm SIMPLY SAYING that if you are writing checks to BERNARD MADOFF instead of the funds that he is supposedly investing for you - then you're not the brightest. And if you actually invest money with anybody or any group without doing research then you get what you deserve. Stupidity and naivity is NOT an excuse for all the crying and whining these "victims" have been b*tching about. GROW UP already

Greed begets greed. These "victims" were looking to make a fast buck. And in some respects, they got what they deserved.
