Pinko-im am saying if you think that others are benefitting from nepotism, insider dealing, etc, other than those detailed above; and you know how to obtain the info; please go get it and report. If that's lumping you in with the rabble, so be it.

I don't necessarily see half-truths. I think that's a pretty solid compilation. And that group of pigs wouldn't let a sweet no-show job go without something in return. So if others are benefitting from this corruption, please point them out-dont just claim that others are too without any backup. Get it?

Call INS. They will disappear. Hopefully they'll take the dog. Or, find out who owns the property. It may be a scumbag contractor using illegals and stacking them in a house at exhorbitant rents (in the aggregate). Or, contact the housing authority. Any kids there-definitely contact dyfs. Or put up signs around the neighborhood bringing attention-probably won't do much if they're illegals.

Or just move-thats probably the best idea. Your neighborhood has gone down hill.

Fine Pinko-why don't YOU do that. I think the point here is that no one is in favor of this, and it smacks of political favoritism, insider dealing and corruption. I don't have facts and figures, but it seems to me the insiders here probably have seized and divided all those sweet no-show guvment jobs.

Alright People--The trial is set for 5/8/09 at 1pm. That's this friday. I looked at their website, and it appears that the DA has offered a settlement where they sell the dogs. They refused, which has me nervous. In any event, that doesn't solve the larger problem with these horrible people. They will just get new dogs and someone will die (unfortunately, it likely won't be the husband who is the root of this mess for beating the dogs incessantly).

I am going to try to show up. To those that were injured and, hopefully, will be there to testify, I wish you good luck in this and your civil proceedings. Everyone seems to think this is a done deal, that they won't get the dogs back, but I really have my reservations about "justice" in JC.

Kolb has retained an attorney that knows her way around the vicious dog laws. The Municipal judges, on their best days, are largely political tools--and I would not be surprised if the Kolbs have greased some palms to get the outcome they want. On their worst (most) days, they are downright corrupt.

Let's get some support for the prosecution and the injured here. If anyone has any ideas, please post them. Thanks.

Tax abatements for new purchasers is an effort to bring forward thinking people into new real estate. Would you prefer ACORN start "taking over" unoccupied, unsellable condos like in FLA? Its not exactly bad business, and according to a lot of idiots on this site, tax dollars from downtown don't provide much to jc (not my belief, but they keep saying it).

In any event, multiple bs/no show gov't jobs do nothing for anybody except willie flood's family, friends and cohorts. Witch.

Why don't y'all wake up and call it what it is-the current admin-leader down to the bottom-is saying "F U-whatayougonnadoaboutit". Because y'all are voting them in again. Drunk layabout, conniving mother, sellout embezzeling naacp leader, crooked administration, crooked cops, idiot animal control, corrupt parking authority personnel. Top to bottom, welcome the new boss, same as the old.

Don't forget Kabili Tayari aka "his inmate name" whatever that is. Deputy mayor at $100K+, NAACP membership theft $$$, and (I hear) mob bagman $$$. He also apparently gets free avis car rentals (sans prosecution) in addition to our city-funded car.

Don't they all get free cars?

Its the Healy mentality. When you're drunk at the bar you keep buyin drinks till the wallet's empty. Change you can count-(I had a buck, but now I've only got 37 cents). You're taxdollars hard at work (if they ever do an audit). .

They also get free drinks at Edwards', as well as free asperin and AZT, which may double all those figures, although Brennan looks like he's off his meds.

Yeah, well Healy has to pander to the likes of Flood and "aka Tayari". A white Irish drunk does not get the african-american vote without giving them their high-paying no-show jobs.

Oh, and I forgot all about Cantrillo being the one reasponsible for that fiasco involving the 911 memorial with all the flightless drowning birds in the hudson. He was supposed to get doves but got squabs instead. Awesome judgment. Guy Cantrillo-he's certainly Healy's Guy. Just don't let him be ours.

Let's vote Fulop.

Why, you ask would someone do that? Well lets see . . . who runs JC? Could it be the Mayor wants it to look like crime is down for his own political motives? (which in the end hurts everyone, because you can't get additional safety funding if you report everything is just fine).
justifying your opinion with conspiracy theories could get kinda messy.

I didn't state opinion. I stated fact. The numbers are, more likely than not, manipulated. I discussed that further when I addressed the posting by "JerseyCityNj". Someone else came up with a report that showed crime was up. These are facts.

The "conspiracy", if you could even call it that, is simply a reasoning for why someone might want to manipulate the statistics. It was not justifying an opinion, but giving a reason for the fact. Get it?

Don't be so bitter that downtown has a lower crime rate Yahoo. Those of you who live in sh*ttier areas of JC seem to gloat every time something bad happens here. And then you bitch that we have no sense of community and a feeling of "disconnectedness" between hoods. Could it possibly be JEALOUSY?! Because you could drop a few extra bucks to live with us downtown. Lets face it, IT IS nicer here.

Yes Downtown has a lower crime rate then certain parts of the city but Downtown is far from the safest it is only the most expensive. These stats are from January to the end of March of this year. To me it looks like the Heights is safer. Also considering the West district is over double the size of the Eastern and the East precinct is the smallest, Downtown is not looking to great.

Precinct:--East--------North-------West---------South

Murder:---2-------------0-------------2--------------2

Rape:-----3-------------2-------------5--------------4

Robbery:-35-----------34------------68------------60

Ag.Assault:-39--------27------------42------------65

Burglary:--49----------98------------97------------90

Auto Theft:-45---------44-----------68------------53

Larceny:--324---------119---------167-----------115

Arson:-----3-------------2-------------3--------------4

Total:-----500---------360----------452----------393

Well, I am assuming you are looking at the totals, and not at the reasoning behind those totals. I am sure that the East always registers higher larceny, auto theft, etc, since the Newport Mall, Target, etc (havens for prosecuted shoplifting and stolen cars) I believe would be considered East. Then you have to look at who reports certain crimes and how they are investigated. If there is no insurance involved, many do not report certain crimes as well. In any event, I would question these numbers.

Not really sure why everyone on this board is so surly they just claim he is making this stuff up.

http://www.city-data.com/city/Jersey-City-New-Jersey.html

go to the crime section and you'll see that all of the following categories are down, pretty dramatically in some cases:
Rape, Robbery, Assault, Burglary, Theft, Auto Theft. The only exceptions are Murder, which has stayed pretty constant, and Arson.
The overall crime index has dropped by 1/3

Yeah, I don't know where anyone got racism from that comment. What I meant is that he doesn't carry responsibility on his shoulders, but rather blames everybody else for his errors and troubles. Thus, responsibility "slips off his greased shoulders". Not unlike the majority of his supporters. No one has personal responsibility.

Memos were released well before this. They just failed wholly to properly notify the general public. Go sell crazy to your fellow Obamanites. Or simply put the blame where it belongs, squarely on his greased shoulders. Nobody in the US will see any accountability from FheadPOTUS while you keep wearing your tinfoil hats, screaming about conspiracy theories and think that giving $$$ to lazy good for nothing scum will rebuild society. Guaranteed.

But you keep dreaming, reading the propaganda and eating your leadpaint chips. Natural selection will eventually weed you out.

Recent report:

Obama Attacks Statue of Liberty

New York was TERRORIZED this morning by, guess who, Barack Obama and his Air Force One. People are still a little jumpy after that whole 9/11 thing, so when a huge passenger jet seemed to be headed for Lower Manhattan, and then for the Statue of Liberty, there was some freaking out. Why is Obama doing this to New York City? Seems he wanted a ?cool picture? of his plane dive-bombing Lady Liberty!

Reuters reports from the terror scene:

An authorized photo opportunity involving U.S. President Barack Obama?s backup plane flying over the Statue of Liberty created a stir lower Manhattan on Monday, evoking memories of the September 11 attacks.

Obama was not on board.

Of course he wasn?t. He was in his cave, plotting new attacks.

Uhh, you guys ever hear of Photoshop?

Well I can see why you're unemployed. Telling the bank that you're unemployed under these circumstances is like telling the cop that just pulled you over for swerving that you only had a couple of beers. Stupid. I am sure Obama will take care of you though. He is the new patron saint of hard luck causes, the unemployable and the mentally handicapped. So you've got 3 chances to win.

Oh, and check out your credit score next month-since you've reported you're unemployed, it just tanked. Why don't you think next time rather than griping about it afterwards.

First, who is to say it was only a blow to the chest--could have been head too--I'd note there is no mention of headgear, which is mandatory for any official sparring with juveniles.

Second, while this is clearly a tragedy, and I am sure the parents were loving, caring, blah blah blah, it is the parents and people "supervising" this horrific activity who are ultimately responsible, and should be prosecuted. But for their negligence, this kid would be alive.
