The quality of their work is not relevant to whether or not they have undue influence over our elected officials.

Allegedly Solomon has raised the most funds of the ward E candidates, if so, he seems not to be spending it, as there are way more Symes cheerleaders on the streets both today and over the last few weeks. These are the paid schoolkids I am referring to, not volunteers.

Flyer wise, I got about the same from each, though others on here did say they received more mailers from Solomon.

So, is Solomon really outspending other candidates? Or is he saving this money for a later election?

Interesting that in this article Rebecca says:

"Candice Osborne decided not to run again and encouraged me to run. I have to be honest: If she hadn?t encouraged me, I probably wouldn?t have taken the leap so soon"

However in the press release which Candice sent endorsing Rebecca, Candice portrayed it that she had researched and evaluated all candidates equally and reached the decision to back Symes.

Sounds to me that in fact Symes was Candice's chosen sucessor from the outset, nothing wrong with that, other than the fact Candice has tried to conceal it when making her endorsement.

I am also not Dan Levin nor an anonymous troll, and I think it is a conflict of interest for someone to work as general council for Dixon Leasing and then run for council.

General council is a position reporting to the board of the company, intimately involved in strategy, it is not the same as if a random low level employee decided to run.
