John's and Paulus Hook Pizza are awful in my humble opinion. I am not really a big fan of brick oven pizza to begin with though..... HOWEVER, I will say that Pizza alla Gargiullo on Greeene Street is REALLY GOOD. Their sausage and pepper slice is awesome; I think they bake a little parmesan on top.

My go-to place is Stella's on Grove Street for a classic pie.

Two Boots on Newark is OK and I order from them once in a while to mix things up.

Take it for what it is worth... just an opinion.

I had a dream the other night the LSP Stinky Bridge was repaired.

Does anyone have any info on the repair status of the bridge and re-opening the park? Man, I miss running over there.

I've heard about the big money plans to extend Jersey Ave, but all I need is Stinky Bridge back in action!!!

Thanks all!!!

A lot of cars were totalled by the flooding and carted away. I was talking to one tow truck driver towing a car from my block who said there were so many insurance claims, the insurance adjusters couldn't get out to inspect all the cars so they were sending tow trucks to bring them to a central location for inspection. He basically said if you filed a claim and had it towed they were going to total it.

The part I found interesting was the towing company that was towing this car on my block came out from St. Louis. I saw a lot of other tow trucks in the area with out of state plates and non-NJ area codes on their advertisements on the trucks.

Maybe all the JC towing companies were too busy towing people from the Shop-Rite parking lot.
