What are those good jobs you are talking about?

Jobs that can be done by uneducated & unskilled white men. The same kind of jobs once protected by the trade unions the GOP vilifies and has largely destroyed. But today's GOP is utterly irony-proof.

Brewster what in the world are you talking about. Banking and manufacturing jobs are leaving. What is left is the union jobs and govt jobs.

How about banking and anufacturing jobs. Without banking Jersey city would cease to exist. These jobs are being moved off shore.

Carville's theory if you read it was that someone tampered with the speech. My point was that this is entirely possible because Melina did not write what she read.

Pebble:.
Did you read my post or rather blabber on off topic? It was a theory of James Carville who was responsible for Bill Clinton election into the white house.

The ragin cajun himself believes that her speech was hacked. That is not to say it wasn't a huge blunder but I wouldn't be surprised.

Some people believe they can save some money this way it is very rarely the case. The best advice is to work with an agent that you are comfortable with and that will work for you.

However, I have also noticed that some low listings seem to be fake and are done to meet some type of requirement -- in the end, certain seller's properties seem to change hands to a predetermined straw buyer (hard to track with all the LLC stuff) It might be some elaborate way to get money out of a building -- yet really retain it.[/quote]

Window tint hoodies and sunglasses all used to conceal identify. I personally would like to see a crackdown on people smoking marijuana in their cars. Half the time I am stopped at a light I can smell it. The tint isn't fooling anyone

I shopped at Shoprite 90% of the time. On the way in or out of town I would hit up AnP because it was less crowded. I always found it fine. I have not been since Acme took over but I've been to the Acme on 440. I stopped there once and was very impressed.

Like anything else in NJ its over done. How about a $.10 a gallon tax after a cheaper rate of repair per mile is negotiated. Or better yet use Corzine additional 1% sales tax. Where did that go?

Hillary has stonewalled all requests for info and has been able to get away with it starting with Benghazi. Emails aside I'd like to know the content of her speeches for which she was paid $21 million dollars. Do you think she really told the big banks and foreign govts she planned to come after them if elected?

Thanks for the replies. I had thought that the delay of the reval which resulted in now higher property values would cost the city. It was pointed out to me in earlier posts that cities does not fund the state. Is it true that no portion of our tax dollars go to support the state?

Why has NJ stated forcing cities to reval it's properties if it does not effect money sent to the state?

Thank-you for the responses to my questions. It is my understanding however that our property values will have a direct impact on what we pay to the state and what we get for school funding. It still seems that having completed this when values were 20-30% less would have benefited Jersey city homeowners.

They just reinforced the balconys maybe they will reface them eventually. Old colony shopping center is 1/2 mile from the Grove St path. Hardly unwalkable. Hopefully whatever finally gets built there will be an asset to the neighborhood. As for liberty harbor I would not hold your breath. There is still nothing happening at the tilted kilt spot or the retail space under gulls cove that was to be Sawa
