4) You will be the first to lose money if the market goes down - even worse than in DTJC. Just google how during the last crash, no one was buying in the beacon. The developers almost declared bankrupty, or did - I forget. But just google it. They couldn't give those homes away for 50% off...

5) There is always a reason why things are cheaper. There is no free lunch my friend. The beacon is substantially cheaper than other buildings and there is a reason and this case, many reasons.

They have a warehouse in NJ so shipping is fast. I bought 12" x 24" porcelain tiles for my kitchen. Shipping costs depends on the weight and quantity of the tiles. I needed 96 sq ft and the minimum order was 112 sq ft. That was ok since I wanted to have a few extra tiles in case I needed to replace any tiles in the future.

Montgomery Gardens was not abandoned when it was first built. Their destruction should certainly have a positive impact.

I don?t live in the building, but their amenities seem really nice. JSQ is a short walk away. Pastore Liquor store does stock a fridge full of craft beer. McGinley Square Pub is up the road and quite good. Honey Bakery is excellent. There is also the new Wonder Bagels location.

In terms of restaurants and such in the immediate area, you don?t really have it. CitiBike did put a location nearby, though biking back up the hill might not be the easiest.

Since when is 5 blocks some major hike? Do you only visit places within one block of your apartment?
