you will have to deal with Dan Wrieden and perhaps his boss Bob Cotter. Unless you just do it, but I don't know the consequences of that. Seach this site for info on these guys.

gotta be anarchy, new regime, Fulop is good, but I think,
a more conservative candidate would be better.
Starve the pension Beast, save the simple museum, library and reduce taxes.

Instead of giving all our city workers nice raises, plush benefits and fat pensions...give them half price housing here instead! In five years these same displaced people will be crying to get back into these same units..crying for compensation, as they were robbed of their nice units in a convenient area.

Collecting more taxes from Brownstone owners should be a distant concern. Most owners pay enough, and yes some other pay too little, on balance they pay their own way and support local establishments.

More important, Clean up the the mess first, then look at what everyone pays, inclusive of Greenville folks getting too many breaks. Limiting egregious payrates, pensions and redundant staffing of city staffers should be a high priority.
Limiting dual salaries...cars, expense accounts, gas cards...etc...Firing corrupt/lazy stupid politicians 1-4.

Afterwards...Lower all property taxes, Make it easier to fix properties, establish businesses...

cant wait till I sell & move...

Jcnick. the probem, as I have written before, is that the police resources are disproportionately put to Greenville and other sections. The tax paying base down in VV and PH are getting F##*'ed, as they pay most of the taxes and get little police presence.
Flagwaver, I think turnstills are very risky, as Al Queda will put a dirty bomb down there, and none of us will be able to get out fast enough. Google blind Sheik.
Just ask me, I care about JC, until my house sells...

BP is a leak, a bad error. BP wished it never happened and is trying very hard to fix.

Perhaps the politicians should be kicking ass on the job front, and reducing burden of government.

According to the U.S. Foreclosure Market Report released by California-based RealtyTrac, a total of 322,920 houses received filing in the May, meaning that one in every 400 houses received an auction notice.

In April, total of 333,837 households received auction notice.

Though the filings have exceeded 300,000 for the 15th straight month, the foreclosure rate has receded over the past few months.

POLITICIANS should be creating private JOBS!!!
Cost of public works 39.81/hr.....a little excessive..no?

Christie for president. Top 1% of tax payers pay more that the bottom 95% combined. I just read this fact. Our founding fathers never imagined this. Unions killing the US.

Ok...so they threatened you and you folded.
The towny threatened me with Plus 30% on 2 comps, I provided 6 comps (unfortunately) to say it was worth 25% less than I bought it for (now we are about 80% away in px). Yes I omited a few comps. He shut his mouth infront on the commisioner, as he realized it would sound rediculous if I am UP on my investment. The towny was actually bragging that he would get inside my house to see improvements, and raise my taxes even more. I asked the judge if I had to let him in my building and he said no. And I told the towny he would never get in without a court order.
REVERSE discrimination!!!!!!!!!!! The broken English chick infront of me got the break without seeing the commisioner.

soo many morons here...Many CEO did got swapped out. Fannie and Freddie wrote more BS loans that any 10 private firms in this country combined. Soo many morons here.
Millionaires, are really a small percentage of folks that either got lucky or had wisdom, fortitude and persistance, and so deserved to be treated equally, not vilified, Nor pay taxes for them and 4 other families. Christie likes teachers that don't bankrucpt the State. There are NONE. All take more that they add or contribute, by a factor of 5x. Socialist Obama will get your back for now....

Long live Christie! The top 15% of wage earners already account for 48% of all tax receipts. Millionaires are leaving either by moving, or by falling out of that group. All the morons think making a Million/Yr, is easy or it automatically entitles that person to make a million the next year. This group, also pays for two sets of teachers, unused public and private. Obama's socialism will unfortunalty trump Christie's policies (see Arizona), so this public leaching class can rest its head three/four days a week or all summer, without worrying. The rest of us will continue to be extored, until ....hopefully... anarchy.

njlist, Teachers getting a raise in this Depression is Total CRAP. The real unemployment rate is near 20%, that is 1 in 5 can't find a job , and if they do, I bet it's at a 20% pay cut to their previous job. Get a clue, NO private employee needs to be saddled with giving teachers raises, now, nor ever. Most private employees make HALF of what teachers make!! The Millionaire deserve every nickel they make, as they nearly always create jobs to help pay for teacher's fat benefits. ALL Public employees' pay should be dropped by 10%, and retirement should be raised to 65 or 70.
And No tenured teacher getting fired.....in the REal world people get fired for looking at their boss wrong!

I went with comps, the douch-bag towny tried to tell me my building was worth 30% more than I bought it for two years ago. I told him, thanks for sharing, I will talk to the commisioner. I presented the comps to him, he heard me out, and said they will decide my fate in 4 weeks, and I can again refute that outcome, if I don't like it. The woman in front of me settled for a 10% tax reduction, without seeing the commisioner. Neither of us had a lawyer, or appraiser.

As per another thread Anthony & Sons

Retroactive pay increase back to last year. This is BS. They all have it waaay too good. These PUBLIC SERVANTS should get pensions after 35 years, with no one making over $80k..ever. Pensions shoud be at $40k max. This country, county and town are all going bankrupt, b/c of over promising.

Brewster, seems this apartment unit is not worth becoming a thorn in the ass of the town, as they will make his life more difficult on the various other things he is trying to accomplish. Its easier to burn tenents ever few months.
Any change is gonna have to be class action, from owners that have no other business dealing with these corrupt civil servants. I'd contribute to the cause...win then move to 77Hudson!

Brewster, because one owns a brownstone, does not make one wealthy and connected, some maybe going bankrupt, and stuck with the expensive albatrose. FEMA refuses to pay, the town refuses to fix/pay, so why should the owner be held to a higher standard?! Sue..well maybe with a class action..where's Erin Brock? It sucks for all involved, it costs too much to try and fix these things, and there are no guarantees... then the shit can come in from the sides..ie the neighbor...how can one stop that? The owner has no choice but to try and recoup a tad each month..,

ThrifyT,
I think prices have bottomed 6 months ago. This Moron Obama, is printing dollars like he will never get a second term. Biden backs that BS as "this job is easy". Inflation will raise all prices. Foreigners/New Yorkers are realizing this is a great option at half the price.

More billions will be offered for new jobs. JC Waterfront is gold.

What is the Golden Rule in RE? Location x3. JC HAS IT!!!

We have Newark Aiport, and when Fulop rus this show, or ME, new business will crop up every week.

I am on the lookout for anti-American behaviour in JC and have the FBI number in my phone to call.
