Scofflaws have never been a priority. I moved to JC in '82 and in '84 The 1st new bar in years was opened by the President of the Tavern's Assn., called JC Winston's. The Mngr of said place was walked out in handcuffs one day as she had run up over $14,000+ in parking tickets when tickets were $10. This was before zoned parking permits and there were many who'd park in JC downtown, go to NYC and pay the ticket which was cheaper thaan parking in NYC! So how many years did it take that person to accumulate 14k+ in tickets? Was there no NJ state law that prescribed writing it off the books after 3 yrs.? I think Councilman Fulop's idea of folding the JCPA into the Police Dept. is an excellent idea resulting in savings for the City, more revenue without territorial disputes and a continuing erosion of patronage jobs and nepotism and thus more transparency in government. Not to mention the end to buying buildings worth less than market price, in fact bought at a premium, (was owner of bldg a crony or political pay-to-play donor?), approved by the council with only Fulop, I believe, voting against this waste of taxpayer's monies as they didn't want to spend the $500 for a new assessment which would of course pointed out their wasteful or purposeful intent. In addition the Post office is the only tenant besides the JCPA and not guaranteed to renew their lease amidst national closure of smaller post offices.

The trucks succeed as they offer what brick n mortar don't: high quality food at a cheap price and fast service. NYC has plenty of vendors who may push carts but offer a greater diversity of food then you will find in most of JC.

The Hymans will lose a 2nd time before the Zoning Board and they know it! That's why the end round attempt to settle now.
The Embankment Preservation Coalition gets to finally present their case on May 18th after months of hearings and delays by the Hymans. While they get to cross and continue their side show of interruptions, it's only a matter of time and they know it.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
May 2, 2011 CONTACT Dale Hardman 347-789-7508 nogaspipeline@gmail.com www.nogaspipeline.org DATE: May 3, 2011 NO Gas Pipeline issues Petition to Stop Spectra Energy Gas pipeline in advance of FERC?s Environmental Impact Statement NO Gas Pipeline has released a petition to stop Spectra Energy?s gas pipeline for citywide distribution as well as making it available online. FERC recently sent a letter to Spectra compelling them to answer questions by May 13 before FERC issues the final Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for public comments. The public will have 45 days to comment from time of release. Subsequent to final comments, FERC will then provide a final ruling as to Spectra?s pipeline. ?We think that FERC will rule on behalf of Spectra based on their past approvals of 100% of filings.? said Dale Hardman of No Gas Pipeline. ?Spectra were collecting petition signatures on behalf of their pipeline with mis-leading information as to job creation which we refute on our site under two articles and on our petition. "NO gas Pipeline petitions will create media interest and bring focus on Spectra before their shareholders. We have volunteers throughout the city that can simply download our petition, print it, collect signatures and either mail them to FERC themselves or deliver them to us, and we will mail them. We are a DIY site and encourage volunteers to either use our form or print their own.? The Eastern Environmental Law Center, who also intervened on behalf of NJ Sierra and Food & Water Watch, represents NO Gas Pipeline. Go to www.nogaspipeline.org for more information. I' know Sue Mack and she's been effective personally at the board and decisive when she handled Facilities. I've also observed the board candidates on cable and Sue was the only one to being up the waste and uncompleted work at PS4, leaking roofs and HVAC that didn't work.
I met, spoke with and recognize all the accomplishments of Carol Harddison Arnold's hard work on behalf of public schools. Finally. I've had the enjoyable time to speak at lemgth with Marvin Adames and I was at the largest attended candidate forum this year, sponsored by the N.A.A.C.P., held at the Mary Bethune Center. All three of Fulop's endorsed candidates, Carol Harrison-Arnold, Sue Mack and Marvin Adames were the strongest in presentation and seemed they could easily work together and with the board for change. I concede that Mr. Youssef had the most passion in his presentation, However, he never stated the obvious, which is he would have to resign his teaching job to serve on the BOE. Would he do so? The campaign of "Vote For Mom" that Vidya Gagadin is running forgets that our candidates are 2 Moms & a Dad Whoever you select, VOTE! Polls open upat 7AM till 9PM Despite the dis-information spread by Healy\'s flyers suggesting that you can\'t vote on your way to work. Well you can! Could it be purposeful? Since a larger turnout increases the impact of all voters city-wide, what better way to disenfranchise the body politic then to distribute erroneous voting times with a candidate (Sue Mack) who decided NOT to run with their slate when approached as she thought the better slate Carol Harrison-Arnold and Marvin Adames. If enough folks believe the incorrect voting times AND that Sue Mack is with Healy's candidates, many may choose not to vote entirely. A masterful, sleazy way continues as it always has with these folks.

Just because Councilman Fulop supports this slate doesn't mean he picked them OR that he controls how they vote OR what they say!! I was also part of the committee that took applications from many prospects who wanted to run with Councilman Fulop's support. Fulop had literally no input into this committee's decisions, nor did the hundreds of Fulop's supporters. Those chosen to serve on this committee were parents, mothers, fathers, and singles such as myself. A highly diverse group of folks. We felt this group could work together as a team, which you need on the school board, since unless you have 5 votes in the 9 member committee all is just conversation. Your throwawy comments on serious candidates are disparaging, misogynistic, and innacurate. However, thanks for playing.

I think you two, Dan and pcjops, post positive reasons to vote for your candidate. However, facials11 is a classic example of how supporters can become your own worst enemy. Those with hidden political agendas such as convicted Mayor Gerald McCann, posting under hidden avatars and other supporters who cannot face the transparency that Paul Bellan-Boyer brings. My suggestion is you point out to "facials11" ,if you know her/him, let them know how badly their slurs and smears only reflect badly on this corrupt way of deceiving voters.
