I'm curious about the same thing. Posted a little bit ago on the same subject and didnt get any answers. I have a neighbor with one and its on the back end of property line. As for 30ft from property, I'm not sure where that comes from and not sure how a shed could be considered permanent. Curious to hear from someone with experience.Quote:

I hoping to put a garden shed in my back garden this summer but I'm not sure where to begin. I want to to be attractive but not too expensive. Can anyone recommend a builder or local supplier of such things? Just has to be big enough to fit a few bikes, lawnmower and some garden tools. Also, do I need a permit for this kind of thing?

Either a ton of people went on to the Whole Food's site and requested a location in JC....or simply no one cared

Whole Foods is rolling out a new supermarket aimed at younger/millennial demographic in urban areas. It will be a smaller/cheaper version of Whole Foods Market with pop up shops included in the market to display local businesses, etc.

REQUEST BY ALL: If this is something you think would be beneficial to the Downtown Jersey City community, I ask that you simply visit their website and request a location to be built in our neighborhood.

They have a specific request box just for this. Its very easy, 2 minutes. Please jump on their site and lets get a 365 in our hood!

This is very helpful. I came across a similar language deep somewhere on the internet with Muni Code, etc. I appreciate you posting the reply.

OR does anyone have any experience building a shed in their backyard?

I am simply trying to figure out if 1.) it is allowed 2.) if allowed, what are the restrictions/requirements.

Does anyone have any info/experience with zoning/permits for a shed in the backyard of a brownstone in Downtown?
