A hearing before any board can be a daunting process, but a hearing before the Board of Dentistry sounds downright painful.

And getting any information out of them is like pulling teeth..................bada boom

Well-bred sure, but when did the U.S. Military Academy at West Point join the Ivy League? Or did I miss something?

I guess you missed something. Although USMA is not part of the Ivy League the kids who go their had their choice of the top schools in the nation. This week I sat through a presentation by a former dean of admissions from Yale who talked about what it takes to get a student into"the top level schools like the Ivies, MIT , West Point or Stanford." That is a direct quote.

it's not a perfect movie by any means.....but one thing that is inarguable is the FACT, not theory, but FACT, that jet fuel is incapable of burning at a hot enough temperature to melt those steel beams.

with that said, how the hell did the buildings fall at basically the speed of gravity? like a perfect demolition job?

what about the thermalite deposits?

what about the picture of the beam with a perfect 45 degree angle cut into it?

how about no traces of an airplane at the pentagon, or the one that crashed in the woods?

how about the refusal by the Fed's to release the camera footage that displayed exactly what crashed into the Pentagon?

how about building 7, collapsing to the ground like a perfect demo job, and it wasn't even hit?????

conspiracy theory or not, these FACTS just don't add up.

because of that, i don't think it's justified to jump on freedom's back about this movie or his posts.

and the fact that there are those of you that lost friends/family, it's irrelevant to this discussion. you think questioning the US government and their intentions is offensive?

what do you think about the Iraq war? you agree with that? what's that.......?........ was that a "no" i heard? because I have already lost a close friend to that war, and i'll be the first person to say that the war in Iraq is a totally bull$hit war the US government never should have started.

does THAT offend you?

I hate to confuse your mental derangement with facts but invest some time into reading this book.

Good Burgers at the Park Tavern on West Side Ave. Just off Communipauw. I have not been there in awhile, but they were always freshly made and tasty. Arthur's in Hoboken has good burgers also.

I was banned over a year ago because I had the nerve to ask to see the tax filings, the IRS 990 forms......which by law a 501(c)3 org has to make available to the public at minimal cost if mailed and no cost if inspected in person(there are guidelines posted on the IRS site). They must also make the by-laws available. So if you want to get banned and annoy the waddler, ask to see them in person or mail a request to her. According to IRS regulations she must respond to your request, if she does not, file a complaint with the IRS, they can fine the NWA and I believe its officers and/or remove the tax exemption. As an aside, if the NWA is involving themselves in politics then they can lose the exemption also.

Wow...long time ago...we used to go to Ducky's a couple of times a year when I was a little kid. It was a big deal for us back then.

Then when we got older it was The Alps and The Lincoln Inn (still there) for open faced steak sandwiches. Ilvento's for pizza sometimes, too.

This is even worse!!!! Do these guys think we're this stupid??

Dear Prep, thank you, but I don't need you to defend me from the big bad high rise. If you need the 7 stinking yards, come out and say it, don't fancy yourself the defender of the little guy!!

What a bunch of bullshit...

If you want the 7 yards, you should PAY FOR THEM WHAT THEIR RIGHTFUL OWNER WANTS!

Let me ask you JRHP, does the city have the right to zone areas? The area where the GC stands was rezoned for open area or recreational area in 1999. Can owners ignore zoning rules?
You seem to jump on Prep very quickly, however the school never asked for the city to use emmint domain in all the years of planning and development. I do think, but I am not sure, that the school approached the owners of the properties but failed to come to terms. The school said in its planning the field would not be a regulation football field. It never said it would make the field a "Home Stadium" for varsity football.
I do know the school spent 4 million dollars aready just on the field and another million plus on the courtyard, and they do make the grounds available to other schools and programs. The School has been a good nieghbor downtown for over 140 years and has done a lot of good for its students and the city.

It is my understanding that much of the generosity the LeFraks publicized in the JJ was mandated giving in original agreements with the city in order to get thier plans approved. It may have been as much as 2.5 million. If that is true then they have really donated less then 25,000 a year while making a bundle. If that is incorrect, please let me know.
Nothing like giving back to the community.

If they were being "extorted", why not call the Prosecutor????

I'll tell you it takes a lot of courage to stand up to the not-for-profit mafia when they want protection money,
What was the threat?? If they didn't live up to the pledge they would have to tour the museum everyday?
