Apparently women in this country are not taking it anymore (#metoo).

Why is the rest of us still getting fucked?

They really propose to take away the public boat launch and parking at the southwestern corner of the park?

The nerve!!!

As someone said the northern marina is a dump, one of the worst maintained parts of the park.

What has Suntex done to even deserve a shot at the southern marina? Nothing.

This is all about the benjamins people - the bulkhead repair costs that the bankrupt, corrupt State of New Jersey does not want to pay.

Fuck them! I am angry. I don't usually show up for public hearings but I will show up for this. This is a fucking outrage.

Why can?t the police do something about these cockroaches?

Did you call the cops? Unlawful entry or something like that might be applicable...

Lenore Holz is pretty feisty...;)

Having said that I agree that we don't need a private marina on the south side. On the north side, the assholes that run the marina did not even fix the asphalt path that runs along their marina, it is full of ruts and cracks and not bikeable. They don't care about the park. The park should jack up their rent. No to south marina!

+1

I was called by a dude with a heavy Indian accent telling me he was an FBI agent and that I need to pay using Bluedot, or be arrested.

I told him to go eff himself, and he told me I will be arrested within 2 hours...

I can see how this can be intimidating to seniors.

These scammers make good money - please spread the word!

Just as it is tenant's obligation to send in the rent check, it should be landlord's obligation to cash it or acknowledge receiving it.

There should be severe penalties for such tactics.

LSP south of Interpretive Center totally closed off, including pedestrians and bikes .

The rest is open, but most of parking is for golf.

I am very happy to see the news media proudly announce that "first woman" formerly a man has made the grade joining an elite US military unit... I am sure women all over the country are proud too. Especially after so many other washed out in basic training to join the group. That is real progress!

WTF are you on? I asked you for a source to something you posted. How is that challenging you on your sources? You provided a source, and I moved on to another topic. Was I supposed to thank you or something? Did you forget to take your meds this morning?

LOL, a little edgy Azul? You seemed to be questioning the the substance of my comments (probably would have too if you found any material weaknesses)... Let's Move On, Nothing To See Here.

BTW, I also just noticed the arrested IT Admin just lawyered up with a guy who has long established connections to the Clintons. This must be one of those pro bono cases those K-Street types are so happy to take on during the idle days of summer in the swamp.

And he already came up with a catchy slogan that all the dude is guilty of is "working while Muslim". We need an independent counsel to investigate! Now!

You think equality is pathetic? You think people wanting to fight for, and defend, their country is pathetic? You and Yvonne must get along great.

Nice deflection. Can you read with understanding? People with psychiatric/medical issues is what I wrote pretty clearly.

Sorry, but no equality there. Medical exams for the military are pretty tough, and for a good reason.

Election results from presidential races:
Year Office Results
2000 President George W. Bush 68% - Al Gore 32%
2004 President George W. Bush 70% - John Kerry 29%
2008 President John McCain 62% - Barack Obama 37%
2012 President Mitt Romney 61% - Barack Obama 38%
2016 President Donald Trump 48% - Hillary Clinton 47%

Lots of Hodgkinson-like rage in this post.

Regardless of where you sit in the political spectrum, you ought to be asking yourself why is the mainstream media so out of touch with the realities of the current political winds. All the way until yesterday, most outlets were predicting a loss for the Republicans that would show how support for Trump had eroded and which could be harbinger of more bad news and perhaps even the beginning of the end for his presidency. Despite a reported $23MM investment by the Democratic Party, their candidate still lost. If that kind of money can't secure an election victory, there should be some serious soul searching as to why that is, and how to fix that problem.

Now, today, much is being made about the fact that the margin of victory was slim (just a hair under 4%) and the meaning of that, but what is being ignored by most (but, surprisingly, it was highlighted by an NPR analyst) is the fact that Handel made a HUGE comeback after garnering under 20% of the general vote during the first round of voting that led to this runoff election.

Ultimately, why are CNN, NYT, and all these other news outlets, getting it so wrong in forecasting these elections? Why is the "Trump voter" so underestimated or improperly polled or missed? These are all questions that will gain more importance and urgency as the mid term elections approach.

Because they want to influence elections. forget the Russkies, MSM is the real enemy. Fake news, fake polls, fake media.

I have used Meyer & Depew for 20 years. Matter of fact they just left my house after coils on the heat exchanger froze. As previous poster wrote - very professional, technicians are always on time, competent, courteous. I guess there might be cheaper options, but you get what you pay for. M&D are from the upper shelf. Their plan now costs $190/year. Individual call is about $270, so I signed up for the plan. Paid only for refrigerant top-off, diagnostics and new filter were included.
