I'd love to play in a Rec League. I know ABL sports has a league but its like over $100 to join.

I also need something in the "Geriatric" level.

When a rental or condo says "Convenient distance to PATH station." It should have a footnote that says the PATH isn't convenient to shit.

if you make $500k per year, you can't buy a whole brownstone in Manhattan. You can here. That's atttractive to a lot of people.

The thing is if you ARE making half a mil a year and you live in Jersey City everyone you know is laughing at you.

Is there anything indicating otherwise?

Actually a few reasons.

The New Grove apartments went from condos to rentals when they couldn't sell them.

The new units on Newark and First switched to rental because no one in their right mind would buy a unit there.

Plus its built on a superfund site.

If you were rich why in the hell would you live in Jersey City. In everyone's mind (other than the people that live here) its a dump. Not to mention people who work in NYC would rather have their balls cut off than have to actually move to JC.

I think many of you are missing the point of a corkage fee. Think about it. BYOB is a beautiful thing and even with a $5 or $10 corking fee you are saving a ton of money not having to buy the establishments wine from a glass or a bottle. At $1.25 per person it's a small fee to pay for the privilege of bringing your own wines.

Clearly YOU'RE missing the point. It's illegal.

You're probably one of those dudes who thinks its OK to park in front of a fire hydrant while you run into Starbucks for your Mocha Latte.

I tried selling some mid century furnishings and accessories on there and didn't get much of a reply to anything I posted.

I think craigslist is still a better option.

There is one...

WTF are you talking about??? Is it not up to your suburban standards?

If anything take the PATH 5 mins to Hoboken or over to the chelsea piers.

Seriously Jersey Shitty has more issues to resolve than a skatepark (which we have anyways).

If your presence can't even prevent an armed robbery less than 250ft from the building what's the point?

Maybe to mark off the street after someone actually gets killed next time?

It's embarrassing.

West of 78 isn't even considered downtown.

Landlord has def been kind of a douche about it. It's been close to 4 weeks and his "contractor" hasn't even come to make the requested modifications to my door. I've since invested in renter's insurance and an alarm system. Just trying to make it to the end of my lease then I'm out of here.

Whose the landlord and/or building management?

Cause I want to stay as far away as #OOPS#ing possible from that slumlord.

I'm pretty sure he's in violation of a number of tennants rights laws.

And like the guy said above your insurance will never cover you for "pending" modifications.

That probably won't happen.

People who cant' afford to live in Manhattan move to Queens or Brooklyn. So you'll see rent going up there.

I know some Manhattaners who would prefer homelessness over living in Jersey City.

People aren't moving here in droves.

I never buzz people in.

I would hope my neighbors would do the same.

Although, I'd be worried though what these guys might do if someone went to check who they actually were prior to buzzing them in.
