I would be curious as to how much of a difference in overhead the stands have vs. brick and mortar businesses.

I would be more concerned with the behemoth of a competitor in Porta Pizza moving in directly next door than the cheap eats at bi-weekly market, but hey every dollar counts I guess.

Do not order from here, just don't do it. I ordered from delivery.com when it popped up as "new"-- I live 3 blocks away. An hour later no food. I called and they were totally unapologetic and told me it's "on its way."

Half an hour later the lazy delivery calls my cell phone instead of ringing the door. We get the food and the order is completely screwed up, they missed an entire entree. Call and the manager is a jerk, just gave me complaints and excuses was totally unapologetic. They offered to send the correct order but didn't offer to comp it anything and just told me to "calm down."

Why on earth I ordered from here I have no idea-- I was extremely happy with Tacqueria Viva Mexico-- there is no reason EVER to deal with this place.

I don't care if what we get is a Whole Foods. It could be a Trader Joe's, Wegmans, Fairway, whatever ... but a proper market, in a good walkable location, is absolutely necessary in modern day Downtown Jersey City.

Whatever the HHI maybe in JC, it's a fact that most parts of Manhattan and BK look "prettier" than JC. If you see the areas that WF is in, are definitely the "prettier" areas where there are less grungy looking stores and more "trendy" stores. Unfortunately, we lack that in our city (and area that's pretty and is close to transit and is close to some sort of parking facility). Our book has been judged by it's cover!

I don't think Harlem, the Gowanus Canal, or Newark are any better.

Sounds fantastic! I look forward to the future and the days when street justice is commonplace, and shitbags that think they can screw over the "haves" (the people who work hard at their jobs in this case) can get their hands cut off like in many other parts of the world.

I agree, I'd bet my life he did the crime, but in US criminal law...

""allegation" is an unproven accusation. For example, a person suspected or accused of committing the offense of burglary may be referred to as an "alleged burglar." The word "burglar" should not be used alone without "alleged" unless the accused has pled guilty or been convicted at trial.
We use the term "alleged" because it is not uncommon for a person to be falsely accused of a crime and also because the presumption of innocence is a fundamental right in all modern nations, including the United States."

http://www.pacefirm.com/faq/alleged.html

So I won't bother to give a shit if I see the "alleged" thief who "allegedly" stole the tip jar at Torico's and Fussy Friends if I see him, because afterall without irrefutable proof it's just stipulation....oh wait.

I believe that until a person is convicted of a crime most publications refer to them as "alleged" for legal reasons.

What legal reasons? The definition of "Alleged" is:

(of an incident or a person) said, without proof, to have taken place or to have a specified illegal or undesirable quality.

There is irrefutable proof in this case, thus there is no legal issue
with calling a thief a thief.
