He responds and evidence I've sent him in the past have resulted in students being suspended and arrested.

I moved a 2 bedroom house full of stuff from upstate NY to Denver for 1450 a couple of years ago. I didn't have any problems at that price.

I'm not a cop's kid, and I went to public school - but not in NJ.

So I guess that gives me the right to call the kids trash... the ones who hang around my block at lunch time are loud, rowdy, destructive, smoking weed, selling weed, jumping on cars, littering all over the sidewalk and street.

Their behavior is disgusting.

No mail delivered today on monmouth between 3rd and 4th.

on wednesday, our mail lady had her supervisor with her... we got mail at 1:30pm. She usually doesn't bring it until after 4:30.

There is always at least 1 day per week that the entire block does not get mail delivery.

over the past year, I have called the police over 150 times reporting drug activity, open container drinking, parking violations, fights, and the list goes on and on.

70% of the time that JCPD actually showed up, the officers never even got out of their vehicle.


The JCPD has only ever arrested one person as result of all of these tips.

Stop being so lazy, and maybe you could increase the revenue by issuing tickets, making arrests, etc.

If officers aren't generating enough revenue in tickets to justify their jobs, or even doing their job - what do you expect??

yes... and he reminded me it needs to be sent certified mail per the lease agreement to be recognized.

So i've sent my landlord a letter via certified mail. Its been over a week and he still hasn't picked it up.

per the guidelines of the lease agreement, all 30 day notices to vacate need to be sent via certified mail.

if he does not pick up his certified mail, what should I do?

I've made numerous complaints over the past year with the post office - still having the same issues.

After posting yesterday I called the post office at 201-915-7041, the postmaster wasn't in but I spoke with a "supervisor" - this was at 11:30am. Apparently, the mail carrier was still at the post office. I could hear her in the background claiming "i delivered mail, 411 just didn't get any" The likely hood that all 4 units here, and all 3 next door, and 3 across the street didn't receive at least one piece of junk mail is crazy.

I'm going to call the postmaster general tomorrow - I suggest anyone else do the same.

I live on monmouth street. At least once a week there is a day where noone in my building receives mail. Looking around the block, it seems as though noone else is getting mail that day either. This would all be just fine is the day was sunday.


I reviewed my security camera footage - and unless she evaded the motion detection settings that are sensitive enough to pick up a blowing leaf - she wasn't on the block at all yesterday. 11/19

Would it be 16 feet from the floor inside the unit or 16 feet from the windowsill?

On the 2nd floor - its questionable - but the third floor is obviously way over 16 feet.

No DCA sticker here.

I'm having trouble locating the NJ Fire escape laws online.

I live in a 4 unit, 3 story building in jersey city that has no fire escapes - every other building around me seems to have them - my landlord has turned out to be pretty shady post move in.

Does anyone know the requirements?
