Re: Democratic Convention

That's hard to do when Trump was given such a hard time regarding his potential concession speech.

The basic function of a political party is to serve the will of its voters.

Not to use cheating, manipulation, and shady tactics to ensure the will of a handful of party "elites" (and their donors) is paramount, and the stupid voters will come in line eventually.

Republicans understood this. Democrats did not. The entirely undemocratic way the Democratic Party is run is a big factor in causing their loss.

I agree with your overall assessment

You can also question the process that gave Hillary her party's nomination.

A clear demonstration that the American people have risen up against "progressives," the bullshit they spew in our media, and political correctness. If he wins, it will be one of the greatest days in American history. Certainly the most rapid and unexpected political rise in American history.

My gosh, don't you Republicans ever tire of your own BS? Don't you have even an iota of integrity -- to check your 'facts' derived from the Alt Right alternative universe? Here's your BS, debunked on factcheck.org:

"Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina says that ?so little? of the charitable donations to the Clinton Foundation ?actually go to charitable works? ? a figure CARLY for America later put at about 6 percent of its annual revenues ? but Fiorina is simply wrong.

Fiorina and others are referring only to the amount donated by the Clinton Foundation to outside charities, ignoring the fact that most of the Clinton Foundation?s charitable work is performed in-house. One independent philanthropy watchdog did an analysis of Clinton Foundation funding and concluded that about 89 percent of its funding went to charity.

Simply put, despite its name, the Clinton Foundation is not a private foundation ? which typically acts as a pass-through for private donations to other charitable organizations. Rather, it is a public charity. It conducts most of its charitable activities directly."

Apparently Chelsea's wedding was a charitable cause.

Hi, has anyone have experience with a scammer recently that walks up and down montgomery from the waterfront to grove path?

He has a fake story about just moving here from LA or some place, got lost and need money for ticket home.

He came up to me at least 5 or more times so far over the last 2-3 weeks repeating the same story, without realizing i am the same person (guess i am pretty forgettable). My wife also got harassed by him and said he was pretty forceful when asking for money.

The dude is late 20s/early 30s, african american, very muscular (like a body builder), average height ~5'11" and always wore a t-shirt when he came up to me.

Looks like he does this almost daily during lunch hour since i encountered him so many times.

Can police help here? or it's not considered a crime to lie to scam money.

Thanks

I've seen the same guy twice on Marin Blvd between Grove St and the light rail. Seems to be spaced out or mentally challenged to me. He seems to take rejection well

Do you honestly believe that Trump will win?

Not sure what the point of the question is about. I am voting against Hillary , both her public face and her private face.

Nearly every policy position she espouses is wrong Her job is to keep Wall Street happy, If Bill , Hillary and Chelsea can just skim a little bit of the global trillion dollar scam while selling out America, no problem.

After all they feel they are enlightened and entitled to it all. And a vote for them enables their narcissism and corruption.

I'm concerned that Trump supporters are deluded into believing that he has a real shot at winning. It isn't going to happen, unless something huge drops this weekend. Anything is possible in this election.

Don't blame the election. Blame the actions of this dispicable terrible woman.

I'm all for good police--Police who both protect civilians and police the police. But the thin blue line was not recently "invented" as 135JC suggests, it's part of a systemic us-vs-them mentality that is at the root of the problem we face.

Cops do not inherently deserve respect. They have to earn it. You don't get respect through corruption or by painting lines on our streets.

Who painted/approved the lines? Terrence, can you please investigate?

From what I have researched this practice was started in 2015 by home owners. They painted blue lines on curbs to show their support for the police. This was done as a response to the negative publicity aimed at the police after the recent string of shootings involving police officers. It may have been adopted by municipalities but it is not an "us against them" demonstration as is kencares suggested.

The blue line was invented to promote support for our police. Public sentiment is waning thanks to the media sensationalizing police shootings. Whether you believe it is warranted here in Jersey city or not it started as a noble cause.

Another leaked email has emerged showing Democratic National Committee boss and former CNN contributor Donna Brazile sharing a debate question in advance with the Hillary Clinton campaign -- despite Brazile's persistent claims to the contrary.

CNN announced in a statement soon after the email became public Monday that Brazile had tendered her resignation and the network accepted it on Oct. 14, days after the controversy over Brazile tipping off the Clinton campaign initially broke.

According to documents released Monday by WikiLeaks, Brazile sent Clinton Communications Director Jennifer Palmieri an email titled, ?One of the questions directed to HRC tomorrow is from a woman with a rash,? the night before the March 6 CNN primary debate in Flint, Mich.

?Her family has lead poison and she will ask what, if anything, will Hillary do as president to help the ppl of Flint,? Brazile wrote.

You seem to care a lot about this issue , neverleft, as you keep posting the same thing about it over and over again.
And by the way, it is not questionS but 1 question.

Clinton was told that one question would be about the water scandal in Flint. Do you think that was a game changer in the election?

What Brazile did was improper and she was fired over it. But do you think the answer to that question determined the outcome of the primary. Really?

Where there is smoke there is fire Manu. Stop wasting everyone's time. There are countless examples of Clinton and her team breaking the rules. If you chose to ignore it fine but stop trying to insist Hillary is innocent in this.

?FINAL HUMA-LIATION? Clinton aide Abedin reportedly pleads ignorance of how emails got on her shared laptop?

Published October 30, 2016 FoxNews.com

Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin reportedly has said she does not know how tens of thousands of emails related to the FBI investigation of her boss' personal server were found on a laptop she shared with her now-estranged husband, former New York Congressman Anthony Weiner.

The Washington Post reported that Abedin was not a regular user of the laptop in question. The paper also reported that Abedin's lawyers did not bother to search the device for work-related emails after she agreed to turn over such messages to the State Department.
