I dont see how it could be negative - I know its no questions asked but its also guns off the street... either you want more people killed or to convict people... I dont agree with a lot of Healys crap... but I gotta say he is right with this one.

Just out of curosity... have we done a gun buy-back program in JC? the way the economy is now... we all could use some cash... They seem to have done very well in other cities... and if we dont have a program like that... how could someone go about getting one going?

are you retarded.?.. where did I say shooting them was innocent and fun?, I said what they were doing was innocent - not dealing drugs, or sitting outside crip walking or whatever it is you people think they "were" doing... They went to the waterfront, to chill with their friends after the prom... maybe were drinking (big deal) Their was an argument that turned bad (NOT INNOCENT) and I said blame the SHOOTEE not the kids who were shot.... they DIDNT EVEN KNOW THE DUDE!

I actually happened to be in the ER room with the guy who got shot in the ankle, he was in the room next to us and since it's only a curtain seperating the rooms... you can hear everything... it was actually innocent fun, kids went down to the waterfront after the prom... an argument ensued and someone popped off..... No drugs involved.... maybe alcohol... and definately not gang related... See how easy you can judge a situation? Dont blame the ones who got shot... blame the shootee.... people rarely fight with fists anymore...

Ha.... you are so very right... I have a Chow/Chow Lab mix and she is VIOLENT and down right nasty.... I socialized her from day one but it never helped, she had been programmed with that nasty chow trait... and needs a muzzle when we go outside. Her family is her life... and she loves people she is in constant contact with but anyone else... she just doesnt care, people are terrified of her and she only weighs about 45lbs... her bark sounds like Cujo... So yes, chows are nasty.... but then again there are some nice ones....

It should not be the basis for a ban. In all actuality some dog parks have strict rules about letting other dogs come in and must go through a tempermant test... why not impliment that for apartment buildings as well?

so basically he is playing on peoples hatred towards Healy for his own personal gain??? unbelieveable... I really dont want to not vote, but have no idea who to vote for.... I'm at a loss with this election, I never thought I would be halfway interested in politics but damnit to hell!

Look, I am all for that cause, But here is the problem.... the flyers... I mean cheese and rice!!! I came out to my car one morning... (one of the many rainy ones) and I had two one on my front and one on the back.... some cars had 4 or 5.... I get your point, and even read the flyer, but your gonna lose by being so obnoxious about it. Had I not gotten out there earlier it would have been stuck to my car and I would have had to scrape it off... now that I look on the street... its littered with these flyers.... good job assclown

Damn Healy Van

Home away from home

Everywhere I go, I see this stupid van spewing lies.... crime is down... LOL WHAT A JOKE!

But more importantly parked in ridiulous places... like the loading zone in front of Shop-Rite..gee thanks, now I have to steer my cart around the taxi drivers and this big monstrosity of a truck with its loud speakers and seizure inducing tv ads.

Or last night in Walgreens parking lot... if anyone has ever been to the one on JFK and Communipaw you know how ridiculous that parking lot is. And here is this truck chilling... not even in a parking spot.... blocking people from getting in and out of spaces.... I wanted to hit him just to prove a point...

You will not get my vote.... sorry charly

This is terribly sad, and if you have ever delt with someone who has a drug addiction, you can't just make them stop. You can have all the love in the world for a person but the addiction sometimes is too strong, so the comments made about "not letting a family member get that far" has obviously never been through it, and count your lucky stars that you haven't/. It is a horrible thing to live through, even worse if they succumb to their addictions. Tammy, I feel terrible that you have had to go through that stay strong!
