How much would it cost to get you to stay in Bayonne? I bet we could raise a ton of money through kickstarter for the Yvonne Balcer relocation campaign. Let me know!

I am guessing I have been attending council meetings longer than you, ...life have been living in JC. Perhaps, you should leave.

Talk about incoherent!

Anyway, a lot of people skip the council meetings because they can't stand the irrelevant yapping coming out of you and Burg.

Snow doesn't cause potholes, genius. The freeze/thaw cycle does.

Absolutely absurd that this street abuts a major park, hosts pedestrian commuter traffic, acts as a quick shortcut for Bayonne/Staten Island/NJ Turnpike car traffic and doesn't even have a single sidewalk. Enraging, actually.

It has been more than just the streets. As the snow piles melt, exposing more of my sidewalk, I have noticed 'thrust like' damage that you would normally see from an earthquake.

The frost heave damage has been mighty impressive this year. I shall be busy with bags of concrete and top n bond once the weather permits.

Do you need a permit for sidewalk work, or can I just start patching?

It's your responsibility before the job begins to ask for a license and to ensure a permit is in place, if you really care about such things. To be honest, any idiot can replace a hot water heater and the chances that something is wrong with the installation are very slim. If it's really bothering you, call a licensed plumber to check out the install, and learn your lesson for next time.

Maybe Borowitz will get Jon Leibowitz's gig and change his name too? And for those talking about property tax rebates-you should be happy, the cuts (which began under Corzine) are hitting higher income homeowners mostly. It's taxing the rich! Of course, Democrats like Corzine raised the state income tax AND want to raise the gas tax, which will be totally regressive to lower income NJ residents. The suburban soccer mom filling up her Escalade will be able to afford to pay more at the pump, the blue collar guy or gal driving to work two jobs (because he/she can't get a full time job because of Obamacare hour limits), not so much.
