First off, what state money are you referring to?
You may need remedial comprehension, since if you read it the right way, it address investment from a private group that runs 'mall of America" out in the midwest.

Get you facts right and furthermore, we dont need A Tunnel project at a time when the state is broke, if you think your taxes are high now, just imagine if the state were to go through with the project.

Teachers in this state make way too much money!
Lets face it, they've made it where you have to spend hours after school at home guiding your child through home work studies that should be explained during classroom hours, in essence who needs them if your educating your child at home after all?

Those days of Tenure will be history soon and each and every educator needs to be accountable and work for their pay just like the rest of us!

Boo-Hoo, thats all you hear from the teachers union, gripe, gripe, gripe, in the meantime, their partying down in AC like "Rock stars" on our dime, Nice gig if you can get it, Ey??

Good for Christie, I hope his agenda works out and that he brings some fiscal responsibilty and accountability back to NJ and yes starting with the Teachers!

You can see what similar boats are selling for here: http://www.boattrader.com/search-resu ... /Make-Sea%20Ray/Length-27,27/Year-2000,2000/More-all/Model-Sundancer/Sort-Price:ASC/

It's my boat, and I cannot afford to keep it by myself, but I would be able to afford to keep it if I had two partners to divide the costs in three.

Each partner would pay $9,916,67 towards the purchase of a one-third interest in the boat, and also one-third of the annual operating costs (which would equal about $5,000 for each owner) to cover dockage and winter dry dockage at Liberty Landing Marina, winterization and spring launch costs, insurance, and general maintenance.

I think this is the best and most affordable way to enjoy a boat in this area.

Email me at bds@schundler.org if you are interested in this.

You conveniently left off the fact that how quickly a Boat depreciates in Value and therefore when the honeymoon between all 3 partners is over and you go to sell it, your lucky if you get 1/3 of your investment back and thats if your lucky....

You should provide all details !

The NID were not police officers they could not persuade mean looking gang memeber acting dog walkers to attach their leash. They could recommend but that is as far it goes. Now the NID deals with exterior property maintenance by issuing tickets to home owners or writing work orders to other city agencies when the infraction is out of their jurisdiction.

In other words, nothing much has changed........Another classic bureaucratic agency at work.

I am really annoyed at dog owners walking their dogs without leashes, and I want to know if there is any requirement in JC for dogs to be leashed.

There are a couple of different owners around the Dixon Mills area who cavalierly allow their dogs to walk off the leash, and sometimes the allow their dogs to walk several yards away from them. Nevermind those of us who leash and curb our dogs out of respect for our neighbors, and who understand that being a dog owner comes with specific responsibilities.

One of these "leash-less" dogs, a grey Schnauzer/Terrier mix (I think), rushes at my dog every time it sees her. The owner doesn't seem to think this behavior is a big deal. She always asks if my dog is friendly, which is beside the point, because I can't tell if her dog is or is not friendly. Not once have I seen this dog on a leash. The time her dog rushed at mine, the owner was standing about 50 yards away! It freaked my dog out, and she didn't come over right away to see what was going on. My dog was attacked by another dog once before, and I'm sick of telling this owner to leash her *&^%#@! dog. She gets incredulous with me when I tell her she should leash her dog, and treats me like I'm a jerk for telling her to do so.

So back to my question... Is there an ordinance in JC that I can quote to these negligent dog owners that might get them to leash their pooches? Or is there another way for me to go at this to get the point across without being viewed as the jerk on the block?

Classic aggressive response to the citizen who is his employer questioning his complaining about what he admits is adequate compensation. By that logic only other cops can question his pay package. 7 gold buying stores in Jersey City are hit with 15 summonses by state Office of Weights and Measures

Friday, July 02, 2010
By MICHAELANGELO CONTE
JOURNAL STAFF WRITER

Seven Jersey City gold buying stores are among 49 statewide issued more than 1,600 summonses citing violations of regulations of the state Office Of Weights and Measures, officials announced yesterday.

"Some of the buyers defrauded consumers, short-weighing their items and likely paying them less than the true value of the items," said Attorney General Paula T. Dow.

Among the most flagrant violations cited was a scale that had a spring mounted under the weighing platform, officials said at a press conference in Avenel.

The Jersey City businesses were issued a total of 15 summonses.

They are Nationwide Gold Refinery, Diamond Hut Jewelers and Giorgios Fine Jewelry, all in Newport Centre Mall; as well as All American Gold Buyers, C.V. Jewelry and Gold Stone Jewelry, on Central Avenue, and Diamond Hut Jewelers, in the Hudson Mall, officials said.

Woo Park, the owner of Gold Stone Jewelry, said yesterday his licenses have been renewed without a hitch every year since he opened 18 years ago and he has never had any problems.

"This is ridiculous," said Woo Park about the violations his operation has been cited for, which he characterized as "relatively minor."

"They said we need a lawyer so I am very mad. Now I have to pay for a lawyer," Park added.

His son, James Park, said: "If they had told us, we would have fixed it."

Park's court date is Aug. 2.

You have to love the son's quote"if they told us we would have fixed it", Huhm, didn't know you needed someone to tell you that tipping the scale is illegal??????, Can you say "Shady???

Because when someone uses the word "thug", they are referring to a specific type of person which has less to do with their actions and more to do with their general appearance (and not just race).

And that's why when I hear that word, I know exactly where this poster is coming from, and I'm done.
