FWIW, I just did a rc car racing party for my son's 12th by buying all the kids inexpensive but beautifully detailed Maisto 1:24 cars and racing them around a track I built in the kitchen. They loved it.

It's my boat, and I cannot afford to keep it by myself, but I would be able to afford to keep it if I had two partners to divide the costs in three.

Each partner would pay $9,916,67 towards the purchase of a one-third interest in the boat, and also one-third of the annual operating costs (which would equal about $5,000 for each owner) to cover dockage and winter dry dockage at Liberty Landing Marina, winterization and spring launch costs, insurance, and general maintenance.

I think this is the best and most affordable way to enjoy a boat in this area.

The NID were not police officers they could not persuade mean looking gang memeber acting dog walkers to attach their leash. They could recommend but that is as far it goes. So back to my question... Is there an ordinance in JC that I can quote to these negligent dog owners that might get them to leash their pooches? Or is there another way for me to go at this to get the point across without being viewed as the jerk on the block?

Seven Jersey City gold buying stores are among 49 statewide issued more than 1,600 summonses citing violations of regulations of the state Office Of Weights and Measures, officials announced yesterday.

"Some of the buyers defrauded consumers, short-weighing their items and likely paying them less than the true value of the items," said Attorney General Paula T. Dow.

Among the most flagrant violations cited was a scale that had a spring mounted under the weighing platform, officials said at a press conference in Avenel.

The Jersey City businesses were issued a total of 15 summonses.

They are Nationwide Gold Refinery, Diamond Hut Jewelers and Giorgios Fine Jewelry, all in Newport Centre Mall; as well as All American Gold Buyers, C.V. Jewelry and Gold Stone Jewelry, on Central Avenue, and Diamond Hut Jewelers, in the Hudson Mall, officials said.

Woo Park, the owner of Gold Stone Jewelry, said yesterday his licenses have been renewed without a hitch every year since he opened 18 years ago and he has never had any problems.

"This is ridiculous," said Woo Park about the violations his operation has been cited for, which he characterized as "relatively minor."

"They said we need a lawyer so I am very mad. Now I have to pay for a lawyer," Park added.

His son, James Park, said: "If they had told us, we would have fixed it."

Park's court date is Aug. 2.

He didn't just refer to the one guy, he said it's a "haven for inner city thugs". How come nobody ever talks about suburban thugs or rural thugs? Because when someone uses the word "thug", they are referring to a specific type of person which has less to do with their actions and more to do with their general appearance (and not just race).

And that's why when I hear that word, I know exactly where this poster is coming from, and I'm done.
