Any leads on garages for rent?

I am in need of a garage to store some tools and things. Ideally I would like to work on small projects. This would be for myself only and I am would be very respectful of noise and your property. I am also open to a shared place if it was only a few people. Please let me know if you have something. Paul 2001.206.2856

Five Guys does a much better burger than LB, IMO.

A few blocks? half the price?

Neither of those statements are true.

Vacant building causing termites

Just can't stay away

Good morning,

Does anyone know who to contact in regards to vacant un kept properties? My issue is that the building next door is vacant and falling apart and I think it may be the cause of what looks like termites but may be carpenter ants infesting my apartment. I am a renter, does this mean only the landlord can complain? hundreds of these thing came in through the windows and it looked like even through the spaces around the electrical socket last night. It also happened in the apartment below. Hundreds! All of a sudden. I want to get everyone in the building to complain about the eyesore next door. Thanks for your help and sorry if this is the wrong spot to ask. I did a search but didnt find any contacts.

Hello - Are you by chance near varick or columbus drive? I seem to be having a similar problem. The toilet kind of flushes but not everything goes down.

I live very close to Dixon Mills on Columbus dr. and my landlord has been showing our building to a slew of people. Every other day I get a text that people will be by to look around.

They are waiting for insurance, it takes a long time. They are great people and run great businesses including the Dixon Deli on the corner of Columbus and varick. I believe one of the holdups with insurance is that its two separate claims. One being for the laundromat and the second for the residential units.

I believe they were doing doggy photos yesterday and today at that place. I did however have a conversation with an employee of Helens that said they were going to work there. He was a young kid so i wouldnt say it was a reliable source

Its possible that in this rare case the floors are just not thick enough or something. Maybe to eliminate SOME noise you can have the landlord require felt pads under furniture/chairs and such. I know...that wont help too much but its a start.

I agree with Wo Hop but i am curious why you prefer downstairs over upstairs. Same owners, same food, and practically the same kitchen.

It would be nice if the path had a Bike only car (use an old car) at the end of the train for commuters. I would love to ride my bike to work and save the $5 a day i spend on the subway once i get into the city. Charge me an extra 5bucks per month to use this bicycle/passenger only car if you want but please give me the option of getting my bike in during rush hour.

I ride my bike around town a lot, i think on certain streets we could use bicycle lanes but its not necessarily needed. I think when it comes down to the cost involved we can do without. Maybe one along Columbus but is it worth it to sacrifice parking?

I just want to reiterate that i had only heard from local business that it cost 120k per intersection. i have no proof.
Also, i do think it looks nice but the fact that on coles/varick the hallf they already did is almost completely wornd away wear the tires cross it. Im willing to but they dont last through winter.

Does it bother anyone else that JC is spending so much money on really shitty fake brick paneling on the intersections of Columbus? I was told This is costing approx $120,000 per intersection. Real Brick wouldnt cost that much and this crap material is already worn down after 4 weeks.
