You know what this means people? Those Hoboken folks will now be able to walk into Jersey City!!! What can we do to stop this??!!!

That's my fear exactly. I lived in Hoboken for a couple of years and would never go back (except to Maxwell's / Tunes / Casual Thai / Giorgio's Bakery).

"You must be," said the Cat, "otherwise you wouldn't have come here."

I had a wonderful facial with Lauren at Skin Organix. She really listened to my concerns and she figured out exactly what my skin needed. I didn't experience any irritation or bad after-effects, and she didn't push me to buy products. (Then again, I do enough shopping at Skin Organix to begin with!)

My husband and I went to Made With Love one evening after work and we really enjoyed our visit. We had some wonderful desserts, and the atmosphere was friendly and warm. I don't think it's a sit-all-day kind of place, the way Sweet Priscilla was -- it's more of an actual bakery -- but there is some seating, and we felt like we were welcome, so we lingered over our coffee for a little while.

I'm a regular at Gino's in the Heights. Their grandma pie is excellent, so is their white pie... and I like the fact that it's family-run.

Nothing is worse than some dude who grew up in ohio and moves to brooklyn in his mid 20s and then "Hates Jersey".

Articles like this scare me, because the last thing we all want is for people looking to move to brooklyn to settle in JC instead.

Someone needs to write an article explaining that we live in JC because it's NOT brooklyn.

Hear, hear.

I used to go to Dr. Began in Hoboken, and I liked her, but it's gotten impossible to make an appointment with her or even to have a prescription refilled over the phone. I've given up.

Any more opinions about Fishman & Fox or Katz & Noroff? Thanks...

Thanks for posting about this. I definitely want to check it out... I really need to find a cozy coffee-shop in JC.
