Not uniquely dangerous. Just much more disgusting. With your logic the next time I'm in the park and have to take a leak I'll just piss in the park. Better yet, I'll go piss in the dog run. I'm sure the dog owners in the dog run will be completely understanding with that. I mean piss is piss right?

I did see a man get out of his car and pee in the park the other day. I guess because he thought it was raining no one would notice.

How come no one is complaining about the 7 million cigarette butts that the receding snowbanks are revealing?

+1 for PostNet. They accept packages. I've been using them for over a year, and I do A LOT of online shopping. The money you pay is worth it for the peace of mind. And the owner and employees are great.

YES!!!! This has happened to me twice already! I even went and bought one at Home Depot with the recycling symbol on it, wrote my address on it, and it was still gone the next day. WTF?

The best part is that I have other dog owners come up to me and tell me that I should take my greyhound there to let him run off-leash. As if I'm that stupid.

I took him there when I first got him and wasn't used to his reactions, and a little off-leash terrier ran up to him and then ran away. Hello, prey drive! My greyhound bolted after him and then cried when he hit the end of my leash. The terrier's owners said, "Oh, I'm sorry. I guess we should leash him."

Idiots.

Hate to add fuel to the fire, but I heard from my friend who is a bartender that Ox waiters have been going to the Lighthorse looking for jobs. Would they do that if it was just closed for a week? Please tell me yes, so I don't have to mourn one of my all-time favorite restaurants.

Running in this city is a nightmare. While training for a marathon, I used to run at 5 AM. It's lawless. I've seen cars going the wrong way down 1-way streets and stopping for a sign or light is totally optional. I even had my heel clipped once by a car almost turning into me. And this is when there isn't even that much traffic around.

Am I the only person in the world who loves JC? I don't want it to be Hoboken, and I don't want it to be Manhattan. I have to work in Manhattan. Luckily, I don't have to live there. And the best weekends in the world for me are the ones when I don't have to go across the Hudson. So I, for one, appreciate all the bars and restaurants here. And I try to frequent them as much as I can.

(In fact, I often come back to Jersey City for lunch when I get the opportunity.)

No joke. I'm at Christopher St. every day & that station is scary. I don't even know how it's legal to have just one entrance/exit. In the past, there were times that I just left the station if the platform was too crowded--train problem or not. I'd rather walk down to the WTC than get stuck in there. Thank God my company started flex-time, so I'm never there during rush hour anymore.

Oooh, the margherita pizza is THE BEST. My table ordered 3 of them the other night, and that's in addition to the food we already ate from the $5 menu. Plus, the Rangers & Devils game was on. You couldn't ask for more...

Oh, God. So many stories...

The other day, I saw a guy get off at Christopher St. and offer an old man with a cane his seat. I thought, "Nice," until I realized that the man with the cane had been standing in front of this idiot the whole way from Grove St!!!!

(I also think I've seen the obnoxious middle-aged blonde.)

But then again, I once sat next to a guy smoking crack on the subway. I was one of only three people who ran off the car at the next stop. I guess everyone else was too lazy. So, I can't really complain about the PATH.

Yes, horrible location, considering all the new construction going on over in Hamilton Park.

I've been to The Embankment twice already and LOVE it. I can't figure out why people on this website want JC to wallow in mediocrity. The mark of a good city is having many options. You want cheap food. Go get cheap food. But don't pick on other people who have the means and the desire to enjoy excellent food in a beautiful restaurant--and who actually wish the best for people investing in JC.

The Embankment makes me want to move back over to Hamilton Park. At least the walk will help me burn off calories!

Good job, guys!

I also lost my cat to cancer. She developed a tumor right where she got her rabies vaccination. We had a backyard at the time, so I had her vaccinated every year, but there's no reason for indoor cats to get them annually.

I go to the Cat Practice in Manhattan on 5th & 20th. My current cat gets a bit vocal on the path train, but it's worth it in my opinion. I've been going there for nearly 2 decades, and I recommend them to all cat owners.
