If they are going to subsidize artists it should be in areas such as Journal Square not a couple blocks from the new TRUMP towers. It should be "REAL" redevelopment zones, not the WALDO lofts where we know the real estate value is going to sky rocket over the next 5 years.

Anyway, these so called starving artists are far from starving and some are no more of an artist than myself. I say get a day job all of you artists and pay full price like the rest of us schlups!!!!!!

I completely agree. The CANCO neighborhood is getting better and better. The lofts at CANCO are by far the nicest condominiums around. I am waiting to see the finished model and will probably purchase.

I went to the Canco lofts near Journal Square for the first time. I was a little skeptical of the neighborhood at first but when I saw what the developer was doing, I realized that this is something special and I am considering living there. I did some research on the web and found out that Journal Square has alot of things happening.

I was wondering what everyone else thought.
