AMAZING!! Just did the Swedish Massage after a Boot Camp class. I booked the Deep Tissue Massage for next weekend. So worth the money and a great way to relieve stress.

Thanks HPYC. Happy that you think my idea was good. Just because I'm female, that doesn't mean I do not know what I'm doing. In my home, since its only me and my son, someone has to do it. I'm very handy. Love my tools. LOL. I do not like depending on people to do things I know how to do. If I don't know how, then it's a different story. But, I am never afraid to try first.

It's really not that hard. Cut an outlet size hole where the bracket is going. Cut another one a few feet below, closer to the floor. Get your wires and tape around each end with electrical tape. Using a metal snake rod, snake the wires thru the top hole down to the bottom hole. Be careful because they might get stuck. it might take a few times before they find their way down. As the wires are being snaked down, you will know where they are in the wall. you will hear them scraping inside. grab a pair of needlenose pliers and pull out. Buy a wall plate and drill a hole large enough so the wires fit tightly through it. Connect the wires and all cables to the back of your flat screen. If the TV is mounted over an entertainment stand, set up all your equipment then plug those wires in. If its above a fireplace and between baseboards (like mine) you cut the hole for the bottom wires next to the baseboard. Snake the wires down and run under the baseboard and tiestrap the wires. Grab a corner entertainment stand, set up all equipment and plug in. Boom- no wires.

Just make sure all wires and cables are long enough. If not, go buy new ones.

Also, I prefer the swivel mounts. Once the TV is up, all you do is move the bracket out and connect everything. So much easier.

You really don't have to be handy to do this. Get the wall bracket (I prefer the swivel one), locate the beam in the wall, position the bracket where you want it, grab the Dewalt and screw it in. Move the bracket out, mount the TV (an extra pair of hands would help), screw the top in first but not too tight then the bottom. Adjust the TV to make sure it's even and then tighten all screws. Don't use a screwdriver. Drill works best. If I can do it myself, you can too :)

Definitely not a smart idea to go over the existing floor. A friend of mine did it. Floor had to be ripped up anyway. Majority of tiles cracked and most were loose. Stove was above the countertop and refrigerator didn't fit in its original spot. He had to remove the cabinet above it for the fridge to fit. Doors had to be trimmed too. It's not worth taking the easy way out. Just more problems and a major headache. If you're going to do something, do it right.

Re: Expanders and braces - for an 8-year old?

My son is 12 and had braces put on in August. He had an overbite. They put the spacers over the back teeth-top and bottom. A week later they put on the braces. Word of advice- do not get the ceramic braces. They are extra in cost and break very easily. My son has the metal ones and hasn't had any problems with breaking.

I think 8 is a little too young considering all of his baby teeth (like you stated). If they put the braces on, they will only be applied to his adult teeth. When the baby teeth fall out and the adult teeth grow in, then the brackets will be glued on to those.
Then you have to worry about the baby teeth being pulled. They can tell you that if they don't fall out by a certain time, they will have to pull.

My son had 4 baby teeth left when his were put on. He sat there and constantly pushed them around so they wouldn't have to be pulled. Now they are grown in. He goes on Thursday to have the brackets put on those and the wires tightened.

As for the $$$. It all depends on the insurance you have. My son was fully covered. I had to pay nothing out of pocket.

The video games these kids play today are SICK! Who is blowing up who, whose body is being dismembered, etc... The list goes on. It's a disgrace. Movies too. The funny thing is, parents think its ok. Reason being, "it's only a game, not reality" That's the mentality they have. So, in a way, it's the parents fault too. They should monitor what their kids watch and play. If a movie/game says "not suitable for children, contains violence, etc" use your brain. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out. That's why the majority of kids today are screwed up (always getting into fights, saying their going to kill someone).
Listen, I have a 12 yr old. I know boys like their action games and movies. But, there is a limit. I'm neurotic when it comes to what my son plays and watches. He gets mad but it's too bad. My house, my rules.
I play paintball so obviously I own a paintball gun. I REFUSE to keep it in my place. After I play, it goes to my cousins apartment. I don't it to be anywhere near my son. I know its not an AK47 or something else but it is still dangerous. That's another thing. Kids playing paintball and it starts at the age of 11/12 if i am correct. The game is basically telling them that it is ok to shoot at people. My son doesn't play, I won't let him.
Because any psychotic can have a gun, I witnessed my cousin get shot in the face and killed. I was sitting next to him. It happened in a club/bar in Brooklyn in 1998.
Something really needs to be done. Whoever said about the police and military owning AK47s, totally agree with you. Just don't take it home with you, especially if there are kids/teens in the house. That's an open invitation.

My heart is breaking for these poor families who lost BABIES!!! Innocent lives that didn't have chance to experience life. It's disgusting. I am sick to my stomach over this. Im a neurotic mother when it comes to my son and now I have to worry even more so when he goes to school. School is SUPPOSED to be a safe haven, besides their own home. Im a single mother so i need to work but If I have to quit my job and sit outside his school all day, I'll do it. These people are psychotic a**holes!!!
Anyway, what kind of a mother keeps guns in the house knowing your son has personality issues? Absolutely no common sense whatsoever. If you have a gun, LOCK IT UP and keep it where no one can find it! I can't anymore. This world really does SUCK!!
