If it's BGT who is building them, they just built a gigantic buliding on 3rd St that is pressed fresh along the sides of both buildings it's sandwiched between. They also blighted all of the daytime parking spots with no parking on one side from Jan-April and the other from Feb-July, not to mention the 2 buildings that just came down on Brunswick between 2nd and 3rd and the CitiBike in front of Sen Hai. The parking czar is in full force when the construction doesn't have the streets closed off. I miss living in this neighborhood when it was quiet but for 2 years now I wake up to hammers, drills, loud trucks, and the police ringing doorbells for everyone in the building to move their cars. They usually start the noise around 6:45am.

I feel for the OP if you have to deal with this kind of stuff along with losing your balcony.

Big boxes built with ticky tacky and they all look just the same.

I like Ahris (Beef Bulgogi!) and based on the discussion hereI'd like to check out Rumi soon. I'm a regular at Gypsy Grill when it's warm out and I'm walking around. Also, up the hill I like Gusto Latino, a little divey but the food is consistent for a quick bite or to take home.

I have moved some of my clients cars while they are on vacation for them. They have stick shift vehicles and none of their neighbors know how to drive stick and I just happen to have 2 myself. I just had them tell me what time they have to be moved by and I wait for the street cleaner to come by to repark it on that side of the street so I don't have to head over every day. I have yet to find someone to help move my remaining car when I am away so I usually put that one in a relatives driveway while I take my car to the airport or with me.

Clearly the Port Authority does not care about their NJ riders.

At night time the trains are packed and stop in Hoboken first, sometimes sitting at the station for an extra 10 minutes.

The trains already run infrequently. There is obviously a demand for more service but they'd rather pack us up like sardines in a can.

I often walk from the Upper West Side to WTC to save myself the headache of being in a packed train since the NYC subway is packed along the line that runs to where I want to go, but at least it comes more often at night.

The Metrocard machines at Grove are often out of new cards or won't accept payments after 5PM on a weekday, which for some of us is when we're going to the city whether it be for work or other things. It's still costing us time and money nonetheless.

If only they allowed bicycles through the tunnel, but I'm sure they'd find a way to charge us for the smoggy air to breathe.

In the drivers defense I too have made this err (when I last drove through Lincoln park a few years back it was two directions for cars.) There was no signage the day it happened to me, just angry joggers hitting my car with objects. This was many months ago but I am going to doubt that the signs have been added since. Sadly a lot of JC old timers didn't know about the traffic changes.

Sadly it wasn't me who placed them by the tree but the girls father who I think was from out of town. We had a hand truck and the front door open but they took them any way. The good news is that her old fridge doors fit on it so everyone is happy.

They probably went on a scrap truck.

I just gave my old fridge to a girl and while they were getting it out of the building they left the doors along a tree outside for no more than 10 minutes. By the time they got the fridge out the doors were gone. If you see someone carrying 2 white fridge doors tell them to return them or let me know their whereabouts so I can call the police.

The LHS adoption contract requires you to relinquish your pet to the shelter if you adopted through them.

I'd hire a dog walker to take your dog out daily and even on weekends. There are tons of walkers who provide different types of services (daily hikes, group walks, boarding, etc.)

I was awake when this robbery happened. I heard a car alarm that sounded like mine go off and saw a man run into the gate by my property until I opened the blinds and he took off. Went outside with my large dog for a quick walk to check on my car and look around the block for broken glass. Had no idea it was the jeep. Sucks.

I love ralohs too.

I did buy tires from tire buyer and had them shipped to home (next day from totowa to JC heights) and had them installed at LA familia on grand and fairmount. $50 for mount balance install aand disposal of my old leaky tires. They also saved the two best ones and put them on my extra junky rims which came in handy when my car was hit while parked and I needed to have the whole back axle replaced. They held me up well.

I guarantee if anyone's car got hit or a house was robbed within a few feet of these cameras that people would be all about the use of them and would ask for the footage.

Our building has cameras and signs indicating their presence. Don't like them? Cross the street.

Re: Looking to Rent a Vacant Lot

You will probably need more than just a lot to rent to conduct business such as that in Jersey City. Just as pet sitters are supposed to have boarding permits when they take a clients pet into their own home. There are numerous walkers now loading vehicles with dogs completely untethered, no crates, and dogs of all sizes jumping all over seats and loading them into public dog runs outside of the dogs neighborhood. Insurance or not, accidents happen. There have been quite a few at Hamilton and Van Vorst Parks due to walkers and owners not being in control of too many dogs.

We both had our burgers medium rare and they came out as ordered. Perhaps they are reading the reviews and making the proper adjustments? Either way were definitely going to White Star at Harbor to try them too!

What? You had nothing to complain about? How about the smell? the way they greeted you? Maybe it was the silverware or the hovering waiter or the music or the lighting? I'm sure they didn't get your "rare-plus" request right. The seasoning couldn't have been perfect. Surely you could find something to complain about. Please revise and complain so that we know this is a real review and that your opinion really matters...your community depends on it.

Caribbean nights is also on congress and palisade. I lived down the block from there and constantly had to stop people from pissing in my driveway after both bars let out. I heard a rumor that the owner of corkscrew bought the Caribbean nights building?

Happened to me at pepboys today...hassled me about how they could fix my banged up car. I politely told them my car is 10 years old and its an old beater and to take a hike.

Needless to say I got a photo of their vehicle and plate. Do what you want with it.

The main trick is to make sure you get one that's nice and playful (laser pointers/fake mice prey drive) and keep a collar with no bells on so the mouse doesn't get any warning signs.

Pretty much every lot you listed is about a 5-10 block or more walk from Duncan Ave.

I'll ask my friends on Duncan about the spots they rent on the corner of Duncan and Bergen if you'd like. A few of their neighbors also rent spots on Fairmount Ave between Bergen and JFK.
