Bait car - maybe ?

I'd love to see the JCPD initiate a BAIT CAR and BAIT BICYCLE program to flush out some ass-wipes downtown.

I take it this only happens downtown and nowhere else?

The race, age and height were mentioned in the article that ran when the event first occurred. I guessed you missed that.

I did in fact see the first article, however people that read this one without reading the first one will not know their race. A suspect description is a suspect description. Why remove race from that?

If it is raw sewage, do not hesitate any further. Contact with the city should be made immediately. This poses a health threat to the occupants of their building as well as yours.

Sure, it works for NYPD and it would definitely work for JCPD. But the amount of civil rights groups that will cry over it would end up costing the city more money in legal fees. The city needs more cops in general, not just walking the beat.

I really don't want to know how or why you know that.

You will never get rid of them, even if they get locked up for it, its going to continue. Even when its a larger ring, the pimp gets locked up the longest, the girls will continue to work when they are released. No sense in clogging up the already overcrowded corrections system with prostitutes. Save the spots for violent criminals.

Fulop's ticket wants to push for better public safety.. Did everyone forget his desire to cut the FD? Oh that's right, he had an "expert" examine the FD without any actual input or stats from the FD.

The more you can fit in the cart, the more you are likely to buy. Strictly a profit influenced move.

33rd Street bound train to 14th Street, Brooklyn bound L train to Union Square, where you can catch the 4, 5, & 6. Uptown 4 to Grand Central is the best bet, then transfer to the 6 to 68th Street. 59th Street is different levels as someone else has mentioned, so if you get stuck behind a slow walker on the steps, you'll probably miss the train..

Guns kill people, spoons make people fat..

Criminals are not known for the law abiding ways. Banning high capacity magazines will only mean they need to carry more magazines. More guns in the hands of law abiding citizens would drastically decrease crime. A thug on the street is going to be weary about robbing someone because they do not know if the potential target is armed.

What really needs to happen is universal background checks, and laws from state to state need to be more in line with each other. Mental health screening should have always been part of the screening process to purchasing firearms..

So more laws will not prevent more crimes. The federal government has spent billions on anti-drug campaigns, we see how that's working.. Concealed carry in NJ is extremely difficult to get, so explain how all these thugs walk around with their guns tucked in their waist band, oh that's right, they don't obey the law..

Personally, I would much rather people be able to defend themselves instead of being easy targets.

http://www.nj.com/hudson/index.ssf/20 ... y_man_shot_in_face_b.html

Remember that one? Now think if more people were actually permitted to carry, robberies would drastically decrease..

Disarming the innocent does not protect the innocent.

Salumeria Ercolano, behind Puccini's on West Side Ave, Italian deli with both hot food and sandwiches..

Healy's Tavern on Newark Ave also has good cheese steaks.. Very cheap for being so close to downtown..

restricting parking on one corner will only ease the issue at that intersection.. find an area in the entire city where people do not have an issue with parking.. i live on a one way street and people regularly drive down it like its a highway.. nothing will get done because there are far more larger issues within the city..

you can complain about this and when police begin to enforce it more, they will not be able to patrol the areas in which more robberies occur..

ask your council to install traffic lights.. im sure you wont like seeing red yellow and green coming through your windows all night..

choose which evil you want to fight, it cant be both..

never move into an area that at one point was one of the worst of the city and expect everyone that was once there to leave.. look at it as part of the real jersey city experience.. don't expect every city with over 1/4 million people to be the perfect city with no crime or "different" crowds in it.. it will never happen

it also seems most people on JC List have lived very sheltered lives and have never seen half of what goes on in this city.. its part of life, accept it or move to north dakota.
