We send my son to the Growing Tree II, which is downtown and have had a very good experience. He has been going there since he was about 2.5 months old.

I tried this place and I thought the ice cream was good. They charged extra for a cone (a regular sugar cone, not a waffle cone or anything special), which I thought was a little ridiculous considering their prices.

Couldn't agree more. I moved to Jersey City 2 years ago without a car and now we're at a point where we don't want a car, but really need a car as our lives have become less manhattan-centric without any public transportation to get us around the area.

Hoboken gold and diamonds fixed my engagement ring. They did a good job and did it very quickly. I had been going to Greenwich Jewelers in Manhattan for jewelry repair and the quality was the same, but the cost difference was out of this world.

They sent an ambiguous note to DM residents that everything was under control, but wouldn't say what actually happened.

So why not rent one ? Seems kind of selfish to occupy a public when you have one availed to you. Is the lease or deed to the spot very expensive ?

Why is it selfish? I pay taxes like everyone else. Why should I have to pay $200 a month for a spot when I can pay $15 like everyone else?

I have a penthouse in DM and will probably sell soon due to the kid thing. We didn't expect to have a kid so soon and our layout is not condusive to having a mobile child (spiral stairs, master bedroom upstairs, kid's bedroom downstairs, etc.)

I guess the best option is to contact your city council member to voice your opinion on this matter.

Anyway, the open house was well attended, and when I mention this episode of House Hunter, someone (someone who may be living there) mentioned, "We saw the show, but we never see the couple."

I live in DM and have seen the couple. And creepily enough, I can see their window when I am waiting for the elevator and looking down into the courtyard.

A few bucks to discourage robbing and stealing is probably worth it.

You have obviously never seen the episode of Intervention when one of the crack addicts pulled in 30K a year from begging.

I used Dr. Moon at Brescia and Miggliacio. He is a great doctor. Very good bedside manner. Their office was great at scheduling prenatal visits, giving me info, etc. However, I delievered at Hoboken University and the nursing staff was terrible! I dont think I am a needy patient, but there are some basic things you need when you're in a hospital with a newborn - like diapers, and I was always hunting down nurses. The rooms were nice though. A lot of it was redone because of Sandy. That OBGYN office delivers at Palisades, too, which I have heard is a lot better.

A review on Yelp said...

"Think about the gift store across from mitsuwa that sells things all Asian girls love- hello kitty and bejeweled cellphone cases. I spent 30 minutes here and spent $25 on two pairs of Channel (LOL) earrings and a jewelry tower. WHAT A DEAL!

The front of the store is full of adorable gifts and nik-naks. The back of the store is heavily discounted clothing, shoes, and accessories. I personally wouldn't buy any of these things because I am more interested about the front's goodies."

I have been here a handful of times for lunch. I've tried several of the Ramens and the pork sandwich. All were good. I like coming here because the space is very open and can fit a stroller. Not a lot of places in DTJC where I can do that with ease.

1. Direct JC to NYC service on Weekends
2. An elevator at Grove Street (wishful thinking)
3. Additional cars or rush hour trains

I worked with arthur saganda at guaranteed rate mortgage and had a very good experience. he was extremely helpful in explaining things (especially to a first time buyer) and was very responsive over email and phone. yes, my mortgage was sold, but that didn't really bother me or I would have worked directly with a bank. My mortgage was sold to chase.
