I will pay you $20 if you let me watch you try to do five laps around that thing. The only pedaling anyone is going to do up there is on a paddleboat.

The original owners are still listed on the whois info. It expired April 4th, I'm assuming they just forgot to pay their bill.

Good job to the police for getting this dangerous criminal off the streets. All the recent carjackings are probably done by people needing their marijuana "fix".

Those two are living rent free in that building... sounds like they haven't been paying the bill for quite a while.

Man falls to death from Jersey City high-rise, police say

what police are calling a possible suicide, a Jersey City man fell to his death from the 16th floor of a Downtown Jersey City high-rise this evening.

The man, a resident of Portside Towers at 100 Warren St., landed on the roof of a three-deck parking garage at the rear of the complex, according to persons at the scene.

Several police vehicles remain are at the scene and investigators can be seen on the roof of the garage and taking photos from a balcony apartment.

The police investigation of the incident is ongoing, an official said.

These buildings seem a lot pointier than any other buildings in the area. Won't this ruin the skyline?

The ultimate irony would be if these tactics wind up radicalizing people who would otherwise stay peaceful in a sane world. Then when the next attack came, all of you morons would once again cry, "why do they hate us?".

Does the hackensack waterfront have significant flooding issues? I thought storm surge was already tempered by the Narrows.

I'm definitely in for this. Its a canoe, but I'd probably get kayaks too if there was a place to keep them. What would be a fair price for one year? $100-200?

Wonderful. They don't work in Newark, they don't work in the UK. There's no reason whatsoever to think they'll work here. It's fun watching the mayor throw endless piles of money into his own intellectual black hole.

Speaking of intellectual failure, it's "you're", not "your".

Do you have any references for the plan to go to south Kearny? I can't imagine any reason they would spend that much money on a new bridge across the river to go to such a horrible industrial wasteland.

I noticed a bad burning smell when I went outside this morning... seems like we're directly down wind of the 7 alarm fire in Elizabeth.

I took this from my helicopter on the way to work this morning.

MAC problems, eh? Your media access control address is a 12 digit hexadecimal identifier. If your router has any restrictions set, you can white list your ID in the firmware settings.

Geek squad is a joke. There's a reset button on the back of your router. Push it in with a pen and hold it for ten seconds with the router unplugged. Plug it in. Turn your computer off and then on again. That will be $100.
