No. The only thing I want our illustrious Mayor and City Council to focus on is a balanced budget for 2011 that addresses our out of control property taxes.

I don't want silly plastic bag ordinances, nor leaf blower ordinances... or ANYTHING ELSE....

These guys need to focus on the budget and getting spending under control.

We lost some channels on our tv without the box on Tuesday. I ordered the digital convertor online Wednesday, got the box yesterday and just hooked it up. It was remarkably painless and easy. I expect the tv to blow up shortly ;) LOL

What is wrong with it? I think it is good to let minors know that if their friend might have alcohol poisoning they can call an ambulance and not worry about getting in trouble for underage drinking.

I don't have the problem with the law but they way it's communicated...up to two friends? what about if you are with 3 friends? Just really weird.

I thought the same thing Tash, every time I see it I'm like WTF what if it was 3, 4 or 5 friends, who gets to pick who gets in trouble and who is cleared from the law. It's a good PSA though.

I was coming up the stairs at 23rd when the police and parametics arrived, it was pretty intense. I think 3 out of the 5 people who helped him stayed with the guy while he was being worked on, that speaks volumes to me of what kind of awesome folks helped him. I'm sure they had family or plans to get home to but they stayed with him. Whoever you kind magnificent people were, you made my day and gave me hope. Rock on.

Lmfao!! I live on Wayne but between Grove and Marin. It's a great place to live, I have my doubts about how sketchy the park is late at night as I have friends who live near Wayne and Jersey and have never had a problem walking home from a party. BUT everyone has their own comfort level. I think you will be fine. Hope it all works out. Have a great weekend. All of Wayne street isn't that bad.

I live near the Grove Path entrance, a LOT of sirens were going on for at least 30 minutes. It's quiet now, hope everyone is ok. The sirens got mad ass crazy for a while. I heard a lot of yelling beforehand.

Buy it... It's a great location. I use to live on 7th and Division and miss it. Yes, when the ball games are on it's noisy but it is summer and 7pm... You can also look out your window and see what the holland tunnel traffic looks like. I love and miss that neighborhood. Good Luck and have a great weekend.

The Embankment has delicious food. The Apps there rule. My only slightly small problem is that Wally the chef doesn't give you a descriptive menu. I hate fennel and am allergic to white pepper. I have ordered a few dishes with surprises at the end. But overall I love it.

Why do you think they are selling drugs? Is it because they are Latino? They are just a bunch of old dudes who hang out together. There are people doing a lot worse than standing around loitering and ogling women.

Even crossing at Columbus and Grove, which has functioning traffic lights and pedestrian walk signals, is a major hazard. The left turners going south and right turners facing north both aggressively turn onto Columbus heading east while the walk sign is on, especially NJ Transit buses and the various transportation vans.

I've often wish I had a lump of coal or hard rocks in my pocket to through at their windshields.

Seriously, I almost sh*t my pants every time I have to cross there. It's awful and the Buses/Dollar Vans are the worst offenders.

Does anyone here have Aetna Insurance? If so, who do you use? I have to pick a dentist and haven't seen any of the names listed in this thread on aetna's website. Thanks
