Mama and Kitty Reunited!!
Thank you to EVERYONE and especially YOU who went to the park at 2am calling Daisy, the push and strength you gave behind Animal Control was incredable and I don't believe I would have Daisy back if it wasn't for YOU!!!!!

She lost a little weight around the ribs, stinks to high heaven of Mackrel, its purring more than ever and asleep in the place she belongs - at the foot of my bed!!!

A happy ending! Please understand that its not over for me. What happend is an outrage and needs not be swept under the rug. I am taking measures to ensure that ACO will be treated as the law says appropriate and Animals lost can find saftey at a shelter EVERYTIME!!

Thank you thank you thank you thank you 1000 times!!!!

Is there a pack leader who gets all the goods? Does he have a brighter coat and shiner bling to attract the females?

This doesnt sound like an average robbery more like a gang initiation.

One of the attackers screamed out, "Just do it already! Stab him! We know your whole family!"

CH Martin is great. Good shout. I always believe if someone sees or knows my white Hanes Crew socks are imperfect, they are to damn close.

Fabco shoes is having their buy 1 get the next 1/2 price. Their prices are great.

Great if you have kids. It does not matter if the kids sizes are not the same. Just as long as you pay full price for the 1st pair ($25 being their high price) the 2nd pair is half.

The kids can pick out their own style so no home fighting LOL

Well, I can say the following:

CH Martin on Newark Ave. had white Hanes Crew socks (6 pack) on sale today for $3.33. Wednesday March 4.

Although slightly imperfect. (and I've never had an issue yet)

Also, they had 3-pack of BVD knit boxer briefs (black and grey) for $4.99

Socks and underwear... why pay more than $5

Boxer briefs at the mall... up to $15 for one.

And that is how you save $$$$

You are right. It is a public mistrust. We believe "why" they did it is because they were taught to think cats were "wildlife".

It's as simple and uncomplicated as that. No kickbacks or job enrichment. Just plain old "wildlife". As they broke NJ laws and statutes in doing it.

After calling animal control for the lost cat 'pick-up', what checks and balances were there to indicate where that animal was placed ? Was it at the shelter or vets ?

If cityhall doesn't have the basic 'c&b's' in place, what else are they not doing and what other short-cuts are they taking ? I believe that the officers were acting per verbal standing orders to dump cats - My question is why ?

If and that's a big if, animal control log all their call-outs to collect (how accurate can that be), what is the process of recording their outcomes - Do they match ?

I wonder if they had been dumping in LSP as well !

It must suck to be dick less. Almost as much as it sucks to be poor, huh? A lot of hard work, very little satisfaction, if any at all.

My wife and I just got a two-bedroom, 1,250-sq-ft apartment in a certain downtown development that people either love or hate. It's a condo building, but we got this investor rental, and it's $2,200 a month. I think if it were two years ago, it would probably be at least $2,700.

my landlord is out of his fing mind. he is trying to rent my apt on 7th street for like $1786. yes it has parking but it is not worth that. I really think the walls are going to cave in one day.

I loved in two years ago and paid 1575 for the 1st year and for the 2nd year 1600 and then to stay the ass raises it by 186 bucks and tries to tell me it is a good deal. then again the house is going into foreclosure and the douche is trying to sell the house for $550,000 he has come down from $750,000 at least.

that apartment you pay for cold water too. I got a new apt with central air and heat, deck, huge bedroom, bathroom not in my bedroom(yes the only bathroom is in my bedroom) w/d, a den etc for 1590. i know i could have gotten it down to 1550 but eh we couldn't get a hold of the landlord and it's 40 bucks.

i have been watching rents plummet and my idiot landlord is trying to raise it. You should see the face of the people who come in. It is priceless.

Crazy_Dickless? Now that's hilarious. Did you think of that all by yourself? It was also said anonymously, which was wise on your part.

Listen, you don't really give a sht about these folks, either, so stop pretending that you do. The only reason you might give the slightest piece of a sht is that it could happen to you next or that it might lower your property value. In fact, unless you are going to visit these people in the hospital or send a card, you should all stop pretending to care about people who you really could not give 2 shts about. At least I'm honest about it.

Yes, those are pauper wages, and often, you get what you pay for. Rescue/shelter and ACO's don't make much money and do it because they love animals. The only ACO who made very good money was the HCSPCA's ACO, but then again, he was stealing.

Good question about what is being done with dead animals. According to an ACO that I know outside of the city, carcasses are weighed and incinerated. The township is then billed.

In the case of the HCSPCA, some carcasses were thrown into dumpsters at construction sites and the staff kept the money. Finally, they just stopped dumping them and let them rot at the facility.

Several volunteers will be looking for Daisy and trapping cats this weekend at the park. Hopefully, we can find her and other domesticated cats that have been dumped.

Such a busy intersection even at 6:30 am. The jerks pulled an all nighter or got up early which is less likely. This is less than 50 yards from the court house and annex, and there are definitely security cameras in that area. Hopefully, they catch these scumb@gs and the attempted murder charge sticks.

CA, FL, AZ does look cheap and have some good bargains. As a matter of fact i am going to orlando in may for vacation and more importantly look at some properties over there.

Rates are low...great. But that should not be the primary factor in making your decision.

POLICE BEAT
Beaten unconscious, robbed

Jersey Journal
Wednesday, March 04, 2009

A Jersey City man was beaten unconscious and nearly stabbed Saturday morning when five men robbed him as he got off a bus, police said.

The 23-year-old man had gotten off a mini-bus at Summit and Pavonia avenues Saturday at 6:30 a.m. when five men threw him to the ground and began kicking and punching him, reports said.

One of the attackers screamed out, "Just do it already! Stab him! We know your whole family!" according to reports.

Then one of the attackers tried to stab him, but the knife only cut through the victim's clothing and did not cut him because he was dressed in layers, reports said.

At this point the victim passed out, reports said. When a passerby brought him to, he determined that his iPod, worth $200, and $20 were missing, reports said.

An uncle drove him to Christ Hospital, where he was treated for injuries not considered life threatening, reports said.

cmon wibbit

I have never said real estate doesn't go down. as a matter of fact I alway tell my ney sayer friends that in 7 years my entire portfolio could be worth a dollar but if the rents are coming in I dont care, As long as it doubles in 10-15 yrs im a happy camper.

It's actually the best time to buy in a long time. obtaining the financing is the tough part. home prices are down and rates are extremely low.
