They are harmless Puerto Rican neighborhood old men. They will soon be out because they wont be able to afford Downtown JC!

Chief Comey is a great guy and chief!!!! He does the best he can with the resources he has.

Get rid of the old Jersey City regime and bring in the new so our police chief can rid this city of the ANIMALS in Greenville once and for all!

I drove through Greenville today and there are more drug dealer/gang members hanging on the corners than ever before! I SAY PROFILE THEIR SORRY ASSES AND TAKE EM OUT JUST LIKE GIULIANI DID IN NYC!!!

Great place, love the food!!!! I would go a lot more for lunch but the prices are too high. $5 for an empanada is way too much!

Please come up with some affordable lunch specials so I can come twice a week instead of twice a month....

I have been going to Walsh Dodge for pre-owned cars for 10 years and they have been great! They are no longer Dodge but are soon to be Hudson Kia. They will be selling new Kia's and pre owned everything.
I will continue to send my family and friends!

We need to get rid of all of the old cops who just dont care and do nothing all day long and bring in young studs with some work ethic! These criminals are so obvious when they walk down the street. PROFILE these scumbags and get them out of my town! Giuliani did it best with quality of life arrests. If you see the jaywalk, give them a ticket, if you seem the throw a cigarette, approach them and fine them, frisk them.

Am I really the only one who has seen major changes on Newark Ave??? 4 block from the Path Train, Dixon Mills, Saffron and new developments in planning.

Wow, Jersey City Frankie. You really are an old school thinking waste of breath! If you haven't noticed, Jersey City is changing for the better and Journal Square is absolutely changing.

Look at Newark Ave, near Grove St Path, that is one of the most sought after neighborhoods in NJ. It was a shit hole 10 years ago!

The two bdrrom buyers got a great deal compared to other condo we looked at. The two bedrooms are worth upper $400's low $500's all day long!

So you have never lived in a condo? I thought for the price, everything was adequate. That is why it is 475K for a two bedroom and not 575K.

The building is in a great location! Its a couple blocks from the Grove St Path and Newark Ave is becoming the new hot spot. That easy to determine since there are new buildings and reastaurants opening monthly as well as the new lighting and trees!

Crystal Point is way more expensive. One bedrooms starting where Saffron's two bedrooms start at! That post had to be from a C Point sales person.

I think this building is a home run! Especially for the one bedrooms starting under 300K.

Re: Journal Square: Canco sales have been slow - new perk buy a penthouse get a car

Yvonne,

How exactly are JC tax payers paying for this? I saw your quote in the Journal and you make zero sense and you talk before you think!

First off, the developers of Canco should be rewarded for taking an old warehouse that generated zero taxes and turning it into amazing lofts.

2nd the home owners at Canco still pay taxes to the City. 200 units at an average of $3000 to $5000 annually in property taxes WITH THE ABATEMENT will generate approx. 1 million in revenue to the city. Additionally these buildings are the begining of a redevelopment of Journal Square that is sure to generate thousands of jobs and tens of millions in tax revenue in the coming years.

Yvonne, please educate yourself before you make anymore ignorant, comments!! The Smart car is a promotion. It is given instead of a price reduction. A very smart marketing move in a slower economy. It got your attention!!!!!!!

You obviously have not been to te square lately, they are about to break ground on a 48 story rental building next to the Path. That means over 1000 new residents that can afford higher end housing will be moving next to the Journal Square Path. That means new retail, new restaurants and it seems that the Canco is the best bet for lofts.

I saw the 1 bedrooms and they are nice. Starting in the low $300's, all had high ceilings!
