I agree -

I have been to the mall and movies numerous times, although I avoid any movie theater on weekends, the weekdays I have gone there it is quiet and never had a problem. Also never had a problem in the mall itself either... nor have I ever seen it being trashy I don't know I don't need Short Hills mall to impress me. We do live in an urban area and we have all types of people that live here, we cannot be the cookie cutter Short Hills mall, that will never happen.

I agree with the area, it has great character, and I will say over and over our neighbors are awesome!! Everyone (on my block anywho) says hey and are very neighborly. I said it before its all about your tolerance level. Don't expect downtown living, all of my friends who are from BK say its like BK over here. And I quite like it!

You are going to get told it is usually on what your tolerance level is. I live one block away on Belmont and was rocked out of my bed at 5:30am to gun shots in my backyard, I been there for awhile so im accustomed to the sound of gun shots lol. It is a really nice neighborhood and the neighbors are awesome but there is a lot of riff raff to deal with. and if your used to a rough around the edges type of living then it's really nothing.

I very rarely give props to JCPD, but way to go guys... these maybe reinstates my faith in them. While it could have very well been justifiable had this man gotten shot, they diffused a very tense situation. I <3 this cop whomever it was.

Not quite sure where you live but over by me we have beat walkers, also they have stationed cops in those little carts at the intersections where all the dealers are at.

If they were anti-black, I sure as hell would show up, if they were anti-jew I would show up... Neither of which I am. So if doesn't affect your personal life just stand by and do nothing right? Real proactive.

I was walking past when it just happened, they were looking for a man in a gray truck... the window was smashed out and it looks like they may have been robbed or a fight was in there... the narcotics officers were there though so I dont know if it may have been drug related.

how about the abandoned lot where a church once stood where everyone with a dog lets their dog shit and piss (without cleaning up) and a garbage dump... it should be turned into a little park at least.

Ugh to the municipal court.

When I was arrested for vandalism, they managed to mix up a bunch of numbers, and tried to put me in jail when I showed up for my court appearance, stating I had an ALIAS. They were like, "yeah, this number brings up the case of Juan Castillo, is this your alias? Have you been arrested for receiving stolen property?" After eventually getting them to understand that there's no way a white guy with a beard would ever use the name JUAN CASTILLO as an alias, they were like, "OK, well, here we go, we found you in the system. Your court date is for tomorrow, not today." I had to reschedule and take another day off of work and everything, and when I was calling and trying to explain the problem, the girl on the phone was like, "well that's not my problem, sucks for you, a warrant will be issued for your arrest." WHAT? I did exactly what I was supposed to do, and you're going to put out a warrant for my arrest?

And nevermind the fact that it has been a year now that my girlfriend has been trying to deal with the municipal court in a matter regarding a stalker, whom we still see around very frequently, and also left a diaper with a note to me on it in front of my job last week.

Ugh.

So... you agree that the guy says 'shitty' right?

Yea really lmao ......
