You should have called 911 if the guy was physical with you... that's assault and he may have been arrested. Also, isn't public drunkeness illegal as well?
I feel for you. If you are able to, it'd be worth it to move. It's horrible to feel dread every time you have to walk down your own street. Do you have any large and mighty male friends who can threaten this guy on your behalf?

I would honestly be a little annoyed with the hotel, especially if they didn't fill me in on the possibility that there would be people fishing 40 feet from my ceremony, especially if the hotel charged me to use the space that actually is free public space anyway.
If the hotel doesn't charge for the space, then I would be more accepting of the guys there... as if I was getting married in a park or something.. can't guarantee privacy. Being that I was a bit of a bridezilla myself, I probably would have asked one of my very charming and cute girlfriends if they could politely ask the guys to move until after the ceremony... not that they have to, but if they wouldn't mind.

What we need here is a store like Integral Yoga that's on 13th Street in the city. If someone opened a store like that, I would shop there ALL the time! Their produce is ALL organic and it's always beautiful and affordable. How do they do it?!?!

Can I speak up for the people who aren't "affluent" yet aren't poor? That's my family. Everything is a stuggle. Only one child can go to college out of the 3 children and just makes it by the skin of her teeth. Can't afford the dentist, don't qualify for assistance. Parents keep getting layed off, can never catch up on the bills, yet, you're not poor. Anyone else?

Yes!
If you walk down Jersey Ave toward LSP and just keep going, past the hospital, keep going over the light rail tracks, keeping going, over the little stinky bridge, keep going past the boats on your left and you are there! It's the best way to get there on foot or bike.
