There are far more problems with alcohol in eorpe than the US. Have you ever been to a futbol game in the UK, you'll see that there are far more riots and deaths caused from alcohol infused fans than there are hover ere. But we're starting to get off topic.

I guess we're both right bc we're interpreting the situation 2 different ways.
I see it as, inncoent parent not knowing the rules, manning up and taking the responsibility for his guests. You see it as a jerk being a smart ass to the cop. If that was the case, I agree with you. I have been in situations where I was at an underage drinking party when the cops show up and the few 21 yr olds said all the beers were theirs and took the fall. We all left and the they were arrested. Usually, cops want one person taking responsibility to make their jobs easier so to me, it sounded like this guy was cooperating.

He's right vigilante, I really hope you never become a police officer. There are enough of you currently on the force.
I think 90% of situations can be solved with words. Unfortunately, police officers are not trained to do this and do not have the mental capacity or intelligence to process that. I understand that officers need to be hostile in certain situations to protect us and themselves, but there is no need to act like a d-bag to a person who is obviously from out of town for accidentally making a wrong turn or in this case, screaming at parents in a park for a couple open containers. This is a trend not only in urban areas, but in nicer parts of NJ as well. In closing, I hate pigs.

If you want to do it outdoor, the Hyatt is a good option.
My brother in law is indian and he and my sister held a huge desi ceremony outdoors. They close off the enitre pier for you so there is plenty of space. They did the entrance on a horse carriage and all, it was a lot of fun. There was another indian ceremony there the next morning so I guess it is a popular spot. They also had the food catered, but I'm not sure where. I can ask if you would like more info.

Good Job. I think you handled the situation very well, except for the fact that you didnt have any shoes on. Way maintain your composure.
I wouldve taken a wrench to the back of the guys head. I know it's not the smartest idea but I believe an eye for two eyes.

I'm getting my floors sanded and finished tomorrow, will let you know the results. If good, I'll pass on their contact info.
Does anyone know how long it takes for the finish to dry? For one of the previous posts, if you want them to get the flooring done same day, I would try to get some of the furniture out of the way or try to help move it around while they are installing the floors.

I've only been to White Star once, but it was great to watch the games. It's tiny, but I was surprised how good the food was. Standard bar fare but was really good from what I remember.
What other bars have NFL ticket?
