Trump ran on his outrage at the system and how wrong (his view) Obama/Clinton and most recent presidents were on foreign policy, immigration, national security, trade, and a host of other issuers. Why does he (and his sycophantic chorus) always fall back on "Obama did it, too!!" Didn't you vote for him so he would be different?

Monroe won't answer why countries with actual terrorists that also do business with Trump aren't on the list. DEFLECT DEFLECT DEFLECT (and then stick head in the sand).

This has been answered. These countries are our allies. It has nothing to do with Trump's business dealings, though there are many morons who lap up every conspiracy theory they can think of.

And btw, he made a deal with the Saudi King to support safe zones in the Middle East. I'm sure they will pay for them. That's where these refugees belong, not here where they will be a burden, cause crime (if Europe is any indication), and don't fit in.

I don't think you emotional children get it. You lost. Cry all you want, turn to your tired labels of racist, bigot, xenophobe, etc. You're not changing a thing.

dude- we are literally on the side that has all the intellectuals and actual scientists. You're on the side that laps up every lie you are told because you're a racist chump (and we all know you are for believing any of that bullshit you just posted).

Why is anyone sane still participating in this thread?? You're dealing with the deliberately stupid and hateful who can't see anything beyond their own tiny dick. They will never ever admit that they are being manipulated and lied to for the benefit of Trump (and only Trump) because their ego is far too fragile to admit that they may have been wrong. Let them circle jerk in this thread with dopey Yvonne while everyone else actually works on getting this turd impeached.

You would miss the point, LOL.

There is no point because that cartoon doesn't even make sense- congressional democrats wouldn't be asking for a safe space for themselves. Why am I not surprised that this was the best political cartoon you rubes could find???

What are you talking about, no democrat safe space? Where do you think all the democrats boycotting the Trump swear-in were hiding?

Really bad when they can't at least respect the orderly transition of power. Another tradition that demonstrates USA self enlightenment, despite the attempts of the left to prove otherwise.

The people who are truly hiding in their safe spaces (by your incorrect definition) are the ones who are blindly going along with this shit show and trying to undo any progress we've made as a society because they are so afraid of change- hence why all the cries of "give him a chance" are coming from the feeble minded or white and wealthy. I'm incredibly proud of every representative that opted out of attending this inauguration.

I'm just here to point out how Trump supporters can't even come up with a decent political cartoon - I really don't care for debating with the willfully ignorant because it goes nowhere.

Made With Love also would just straight up double the prices for any "donated" goods for charity events so they still made a profit. I have zero respect for the owner.

Also went there for brunch once and paid an exorbitant amount for what was received- the toast that came with my omelette was literally an inch and a half wide- it literally looked like a crouton.

Today Curbed featured a bland profile of (mostly downtown) JC's best-kept secrets offered up by a Barcade employee who has lived in town for three years.

It's much the same as several other puff pieces in recent years selling the merits of DTJC to the Curbed readership on the other side of the river - certainly nothing offensive in her observations.

Nonetheless, scroll on down to the comment section and take a read of the screed written by "RealJCNative1". Reads like the shrill ranting of the "JC Take it Back" girl that started this thread a few years back. And of course, she's still furious about the "colonizers" taking over her town.

Yawn.

Time to pump the brakes a bit, you sound like a stuck-up broad.

You've done your part and complained to the manager that you find the store to be unwelcoming to guests, and your next step should be to contact their corporate office. Turn to social media if you must, FB and Twitter have proven very effective and getting issues resolved.

Boycott the store in the meantime by checking out some of the other local coffeeshops that others here have suggested. Many of them offer a great atmosphere for relaxing and enjoying a cup of "good" coffee.

Ahhh.... this from a guy who interprets a simple question about a new neighborhood bakery, "Notice the hours?' to be xenophobic. I have a whole lot of faith in your ability to read and comprehend.

It's hilarious that you think you are in any position to be criticizing anyone's reading comprehension. If that's how you interpreted that thread it's no surprise you seem to have difficulty following any sort of logic when it's comes to politics.

What's the difference?

Ultimately, the point (which others in this thread back up) is that the place is not any more expensive that most other places in the neighborhood. Particularly given the quality of what you get in food and ambiance and overall experience.

As for the price of burgers, I think any decent burger (accompanied with fries) at a sit down restaurant in DTJC will set you back at least $10 - $15. That's just the going price point.

Wow, you confuse me. Sometimes you come across as intelligent, other times like this, it's like you're reading only what you want to think you read.

What's the difference between more expensive and most? I need to explain that? And then you qualify your argument with adding ambiance and overall experience?

After I show you that $14 is kinda expensive for a burger, you try to group that $14 with the $10 burgers which is 40% more?!?

The guy only asked if the food prices were reasonable. This is a guy who was looking for a 2BR < $1600

Give up man.

Look up what a mansplainer is- I bet anything that Bodipooh is a dude simply going by the bizarre need to give lengthy condescending opinions for every inane question someone asks on this board.

Why does anyone think downtown JC is a hipster haven when it's literally just filled with corny white people or people who have lived here for years? People cry hipster when they just want to rant about anyone remotely young because they feel out of touch and old.
