5% for a sale, 2.5% will go the the listing agency and 2.5% will go to the selling agency.

If you are renting your place out, the broker will most likely charge 1 months rent to the new tenant unless your place completely sucks, than you should pay the fee.

MISERABLE OLD PARKING LADY IN DOWNTOWN NEWARK AVE!!
#4
Home away from home
Home away from home

I absolutely can not stand the old hag parking authority officer who trolls Newark Ave in Downtown JC. She is about as unethical as they come needs to be put out to pasture ASAP!

Two examples of many!!

Today I pulled up to a parking meeter and as I was gathering quarters, my wife texted me. I began to text her back, next thing I know, I hear someone banging on my window. This was about 20 seconds after I pulled into the space. Of course it was that whacko, demanding that I put quarters in the meeter or she is going to write me a ticket. I basically told her she was a nut and needed to retire but still put the quarters in, which I would have done anyway in another 10 seconds.
Isn't this is borderline harassment??

2nd incident was yesterday when one of my employees actually watched her standing in front of his meeter while she waited for it to expire. That sick b_itch stood there for 5 minutes! We simply went out and put quarters in his meeter and any other meter on the block that was about to expire just so she could not get the satisfaction of screwing someone else over.

As a business owner and tax payer in Jersey City, what are my/our options to get rid of her once and for all?

Im sure many of you know exactly who I am speaking about.

I agree 100%! Limit the manufacturing of guns and ammo, background checks across the board and NO MORE ASSAULT RIFLES FOR CIVILIANS, EVER!!! Give it 10 years and there will be much less gun violence.

The developers of the building have to pay for the cops which is pure extortion by the police department because 5 cops were obviously not needed.
As a tax payer, I would rather pay the $60 an hour to have those same 5 cops cracking skulls of gang members in the projects.

WOW, EVEN THE WEALTHIEST STREET IN MANHATTAN HAS CRIME!!! Monmouth is as safe as any other street...

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) ? Police are looking for a pair of suspects who they said robbed a Madison Avenue jewelry store in the middle of the day last Friday.

It happened just after 3 p.m. at Madison Jewelers.

One of the suspects was seen on surveillance video looking at jewelry items. He then pulled out a handgun and demanded Rolex watches from the employees, police said.

That?s when a second suspect entered the store with a duffel bag, took out pepper spray and sprayed the employees, police said.

Both suspects then ran off with about $36,000 worth of merchandise, according to police.

I THINK THEY ARE FIGHTING ALL CRIME!! DID YOU MISS THIS?

Jersey City police have arrested more than 50 people, including 29 in an investigation into a building cops say was taken over by drug dealers, authorities said.
At a news conference today, police are to announce the results of Operation Summer Shield 2, which included an effort to get the 25 "most significant" parole offenders off the street. Police also focused on what they called notorious open-air drug markets, making five arrests.
In all, 85 people have been charged and 51 have been arrested.
An apartment building at 445 Bergen Avenue became the focus of a police probe when the superintendent was assaulted with a bottle late in March. Police say they found that the building "was under the command and control" of drug dealers, Police Chief Tom Comey said.
"They believed that they could deal drugs with immunity and the residents felt like they were under siege," Comey added.
Over the past two weekends, 41 people were charged and 23 were arrested at and around 445 Bergen Ave. in relation to the probe of the area, cops said, and six others were arrested while police were executing warrants there.
Of the 25 parole violators targeted, 17 have been arrested. At the same time, undercover cops investigating the selling of drugs openly on the street have charged 13 people and arrested five of them, authorities said.
Among those arrested are:
-- Antoin Forester, 23, of Bramhall Ave, charged with possession of 45 vials of suspected cocaine with intent to distribute near a school and public property, and two counts of trespassing at 445 Bergen Ave.;
-- James Williams, 24, of Bergen Avenue, 12-17-87, charged with possession of a community handgun, possession of drug paraphernalia, and two counts of trespasssing at 445 Bergen Ave.;
-- Alterik Ellis, 19, of Lexington Avenue, charged with possession of a community handgun and three counts of trespassing at 445 Bergen Ave.;
-- Darius Burgess, 21, of Bergen Avenue, charged with three counts of trespassing at 445 Bergen Ave.;
-- Parish Burgess, 23, of Bergen Avenue, charged with one count trespassing at 445 Bergen Ave.;
-- Thomas Johnson, 23, of Dales Avenue, charged with possession of marijuana and two counts of trespassing at 445 Bergen Ave.;
-- Laquan Dawson, of Halladay Street, charged with four counts of trespassing at 445 Bergen Ave.http://www.nj.com/hudson/index.ssf/20 ... 50_arrested_in_conne.html

Saffron is the best location if you want to be near the Grove Street Path and for 400K-450K, you cant beat it! Anyway, you cant live there because they are sold out!

77 Hudson is great if you want to spend 750K for a 1 bedroom.

Crystal Point has great views but it mine as well be on an island, since you have to walk a half mile to get to a restaurant! 77 Hudson is a better option.

Port Liberte is crap crap and more crap!

Sugar House is interesting!

Good luck!
