one thing being overlooked is the personal exemption. i think the plans call for its elimination. If that is eliminated (it's $4,050 a person/dependent) and you have a family of four, that's a $16,200 write off that disappears. that sucks.

There could be some funny business involved here. At the very least, the person gave wrong information about the ability to vote in person if you request a vote by mail ballot. You can't. So, it's possible the ballots are never mailed or sent to the wrong address, and you are denied your right to vote.

I am looking for help sourcing an interior door that is 84 inches tall and 36 inches wide with frosted glass panel. Dykes has it but it is pretty expensive. Home Depot can't supply it at all as it can't find a vendor that will make a 84" door with glass and a couple of other places have said the same thing. Wondering if someone can suggest a place besides Dykes before i hand over $800+...

can't speak to care for very young but our kids went to garden cooperative preschool, which has kids between 2 years, 9 months and 5 years old. it's a cooperative, so there's more parental involvement but it's a great place for little ones.

nine bar owner said yesterday that she'll have beans on thursday. anxious to try them. le colombe beans from choc o pain are the best i've picked up locally even tho they aren't local.
have had more lattes at nine bar and they have all been solid. best downtown.

stopped in this morning. After one sampling, very good double-shot latte. excellent balance. best i've had in JC except for my own and one mind-blowing latte from Mod-cup when they had a stand at the hamilton square sixth borough flea market. (sadly, after that day they only served up filtered coffee at that flea market. was too deflated to ask why.)

did anyone else hear (and feel) intermittent techo music last night? i live in Hamilton Park and it was coming from the direction of Enos Jones Park. It wasn't loud by any means but it was audible and i felt a slight vibration. It was between 1130 pm and 1230 am when i noticed it.

hamiton inn needs to improve its tap beer selection. it needs another amber ale -- nj beer co., bass, palm, sam...something.

but it's good there's a chase machine 15 feet away in the duane reade.

the place with the best happy hour around hamilton park closed about a year ago. that was the embankment. good beer selection at $3 a pint. miss that.

harborside sport and spine. it's a chiro office that's also staffed with physical therapists andy they have a weight/workout room. i messed up my knee (torn meniscus) and they helped me rehab it.

have been for drinks and small plate and also for dinner. will go back for margaritas and the guacamole or the melted cheese in the skillet (that's very good) but probably not for dinner. the mains weren't noteworthy. the special scallops dish wasn't very tasty. my mate's tacos were better but not that great.
really like the energy of the place. the drinks are good as are the hot sauces. will be back.

i like that aspect of the memorial. symbolizes the rebuilding...of the site and the lives.

the cameras for traffic management sound good but they should also install cameras for enforcement. they would pay for themselves in about a month with everyone who runs lights. Can't remember if they have them anywhere around here but i've lived in places where they're used and they are a deterrent.
