Not bad at all.

Dark, relatively quiet. Stiff drinks.

Hard to believe that selling $9.00 bottles of juice isn't a sustainable business model.

I found the rice balls to be small (and therefor overpriced), and rather bland.

Not impressed.

The people of Newark and its surrounding area deserve access to quality groceries as equally as everyone else does.

The first thing we should do is ban fishing on that pier, and every pier in town. The fisherman leave them so rancid that no one else can enjoy them.

Second thing, move that awful stabbed-in-the-back statue at Exchange Place. I'd vote for someone for mayor if his or her only campaign promise was to move that statue.

I suggest you do a little research into WHAT the statue memorializes.

Underwhelmed. I'd rather go to torico's to be frank.

Are you really questioning why a plowed in car left unattended for two weeks was towed?

Just so I understand, your car was parked for 2 weeks? In the snow?

Yep, about 10-14 days. Parking enforcement for street cleaning was suspended during that time. My car was buried in up to the windows and due to work I can only work on digging it out on weekends. I had dug out approximately 1/2 of it when I hurt my back and had to leave it for a while. I can manage without it (have been ordering groceries and taking the train/light rail).

I do follow Fulop on facebook but there was no mention of this on his page that I can find.

I don't plan on returning as a patron. If you label yourself as a scottish whisky bar, the least you can do is serve the whisky in the appropriate type of glass.

there was no snow on the ground when I left for work. When I got hope the sidewalk had be trampled on and all the snow turned to ice. Not much I could do about that.

Re: Left Bank Burger Bar

I ordered my burger the same way I order them at New Park Tavern: (Medium, american cheese, sauteed onions, pickles, smear or mustard on the bun.

Not even close.

sorry Left Bank, you dropped the ball. The first off, the burger at Left Bank is much smaller than the New Park Tavern burger. Left Bank also charges two dollars for the smallest portion of fries possible. The Left Bank patty was cooked medium, as I had asked, but the meat was bland. They need to dry age their beef and add some salt and pepper.

Bad effort, overall. I give it a 5 out of 10, or a "Meh"
